I love staying in this coliving (4 times so far, 8 months total). The community is by far its best quality. Between the shared spaces and the frequent events, I got to meet so many interesting people and have some of the most memorable experiences in recent years. Utilities worked quite reliably. There were sometimes water outages, but Lokal had a backup tank. No generator though, because electricity outages were rare. The internet connection was stable, although the WiFi coverage varied. I asked for a cable to my room, but the owner said no. The rest of the team did a good job, although I connected with only a couple of staff members. Maybe in the future there will be less of a divide and it won't feel like staying in a hotel as often. On the flip side, the house was so cool. Its age gave it a distinct, homy charm. I remember it with fondness. The garden is so quintessentially Georgian, it was like being in a movie. The rooms varied in size, so I could always have the private space matching my preference. All the bathrooms were en-suite, but the plumbing was old and needed a lot of maintenance. The location was great, lots of cafes around and a 20-min walk to the centre. At the same time, it was also at the foot of the mountain, and so within 5 minutes I could be surrounded by greenery with amazing views over the city.

I've been in Tbilisi over 1.5 years and LOKAL is a fantastic co-work option that I keep coming back to. The work space itself is great, with both indoor & outdoor spaces. The outdoor space is really beautiful. They are innovative and have added private call booths for meetings/Zoom calls, etc. Included in the cost is coffee, tea, and water that the staff constantly attends to for their guests. The thing that sets LOKAL apart, though, is their warm staff that builds relationship & community with each person who attends; this is what keeps me coming back, I know I will be treated well by Candy, Milena, and everyone else.

Thanksgiving dinner 24 Nov 22: The customer service was poor not sure if it was a race issue cause certainly it seemed everyone around us was attended to in time with smiles. They couldn't even change the table cloth that was stained with food and wine by the people that were previously sitting there, disgusting! Just when you think things couldn't get worse - I think it was the co-owner (lady with dark short hair) was extremely rude🤯 when asking her why the other guests that had joined me an hour before closing time were not allowed to get food considering the fact each person that attended the dinner contributed to the food that was there to be shared and not to mention there was still plenty to go around. It's not like the event was for free (we brought food & paid for beverages) 🙄 so I'm baffled by this treatment. I had always seen interesting Lokal events posted and reviews and was really keen on attending most of them but my first experience there left a bitter taste in my mouth 🤢
