the only legitimately run private dormitory in taiwan. staff are responsive, ayi’s are nice. the events are fun.

I came to the park across the street to exercise and saw many foreigners and students having a great time. It seems like everyone is using the public facilities very freely; it's truly a wonderful place for lots of interaction.

The garbage sorting is good; the pillows and blankets are a bit thin; overall the facilities are good.

+ves: Location is right next to a YouBike dock, and Wenshan Forest Park (extremely, extremely convenient). Also ~2 min walk away from 7-11 (a 24/7 convenience store). The rooms are well lit than an average Taipei room, I would say. There's an opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, right within building premises. The staff at the reception is quite friendly. -ves: The rooms are small (12' x 13') even though a wide angle shot may show it to appear bigger. It has been a personal experience that 2 people in living in the room feels one-too-many people living there. The shared bathroom can be an issue, despite daily cleaning (by an amazing cleaning staff by the way, thanks team!)-- so I guess you're rolling a dice with who your neighbors are. Same with noise levels. The issue of soundproofing (also raised by other guests in the comments) is definitely a real one, as you can hear the hallways and lobby door (one near the garbage disposal) almost clearly, and those are disturbing in what is otherwise a very peaceful neighbourhood. My last dissatisfaction is lack of a proper common space: kitchen, busy and mostly dirty, a "lazy space" dark and right outside common bathrooms, a lobby which is a bit too noisy/busy. Also, almost all the workstations feel slimy/sticky to work on, perhaps due to food being consumed away from kitchen. Perhaps, a no-food-policy would help in reducing that clutter and improving hygiene that everyone has a shared responsibility of.

Don't ask me if the place next to me is Zhongqin Sanzhuang.

The environment is serene, elegant, and tranquil...

I love this community. The park is right next door, and the Wanlong MRT station is nearby. The ninth floor has a restaurant and shared living room, kitchen, yoga room, recording studio, and second-floor restrooms, etc. I was shown the place by the founder, who is also a friend of mine and family. We thought it was great, and we suggested we work in exchange for accommodation, like cleaning! He said yes! The only downside is my personal situation (my company is quite a distance from Wanlong). Otherwise, it would have been really attractive to me as someone looking to rent in Taipei for the first time! I’ll come back to take photos and videos of the surroundings when I have the chance~ I like the community and park surrounding this building. Not to mention how close it was to MRT Wanlong station. Nine floor project includes shared common areas such as the living room, the kitchen, the yoga room and the recording room etc. around and take some more pictures next time!

The idea of ​​co-living and the ambiance were good, but the recent experience booking event organized by the team was absolutely terrible… ACCUPASS said they would send a letter beforehand, but unfortunately, my email went to my spam folder… The team only called to remind me on the day of check-in, almost past the designated time… I figured I'd just rush over. The staff at the event explained each area quite thoroughly, but when I opened the room, I was quite shocked… As shown in the photos, several strands of a woman's hair were scattered on the pillow, and there was also some on the comforter… And even though it was for two people, there was only one pillow?! There was also a strong smell of paint as soon as I entered the room, probably to give me a fresh experience! In short, the idea of ​​collaborating with an artist to create a unique room type was great, but the hygiene was so poor that I might as well have gone home and slept in my own doghouse. The tickets were non-refundable, so it seems like just an event to make ends meet. The process was extremely careless. I strongly advise anyone interested in experiencing this not to book yet; you'll only end up frustrated before even interacting with anyone else. 🙂🙃

Not suitable for long-term stays. The top floor is used for party events. There's a lot of noise in the early morning and late afternoon. Plus, the rooms themselves have a lot of echoes, so the sounds of doors closing, people walking, showering, etc., will make it more suitable for people who don't mind noise. :/ The environment will become dirty and messy over time.

A very comfortable space with great drinks and desserts. They have limited-time brewing events every Wednesday and Thursday; a monthly fee of 250 yuan includes half-price drinks and food. The dumplings are delicious, with a unique dipping sauce. The tiramisu has a rich liqueur flavor. Perfect for spending a whole day here 😆, studying or having drinks with friends. The background music is also very pleasant, and the restrooms are very clean. Sometimes they even have movie screenings in the basement.

During the trial operation, residents who are not on the 9th floor of Wanhua Building only have access to the first floor area: a bar area and a standing area with metal bucket tables. The basement is not yet open to the public, so we don't know yet, as the paint smell is quite strong after the renovation. The top floor is exclusively for the residents of this building (previous events only allowed for visits).

The comfortable and symbiotic space is clean and stylish, including a rental area, a simple bar offering food and drinks, and performance spaces on the first floor and in the basement. The founder's concept is very interesting!
