We had a lovely dinner here listening to live music and thoroughly enjoying the laid back vibe. We really enjoyed the mahi mahi, lobster, cuttlefish, and dessert (brownie & vegan ice cream). Family owned and a community feel. Other reviews noting this has a western feeling aren’t totally wrong, but I’d call it more a blended vibe. You’re getting fresh local food with a more global spin on the flavors. The market has some really great clothing options as well, so don’t miss a chance to shop some more upscale locally owned goods while you wait on your food.

We love it here! It’s our favourite place in Ahangama and the food and coffee are all so so delicious!!! 🤤 Definitely a must visit when travelling through the South of Sri Lanka! Also they have an amazing market once a month! Check it out!

Nice place offers good coffee and nice meal occasional live bands and events. Lovely shop with good selection of Sri Lanka made goods. Also here you can buy Ecosurfwax to use on surfboards instead of Paraffin based Wax

Went for Movie Night and dinner – had a lovely evening – The Lamb Shawarma and the fish and Chips were delicious . The Banana flamed with arrack and hakuru that was recommended was out of this world tasty. Will definitely be back for more of that.

Clean and fresh food every day, excellent service, great atmosphere! The cafe is very spacious, grass and also a place to park the car or scooter, there are many pleasant corners to sit, the toilets are very clean, there is also soap and paper towels, everything you choose on the menu is very tasty, the schnitzel is made very well with an improved recipe, enjoy :-). You feel that the owner of the place invests a lot in the cafe, they have a big screen where you can watch the World Cup and movies and every now and then they have a cheerful and happy market and also a good band that comes to play. The prices are not cheap but it is very worth coming and enjoying the menu with appetite 🙂

A friend invite me over for a drink, I end up in a imperial Court with a coffee shop, a co-working space, a restaurant, a bar and with Britta and her daughter to welcome you as one of their family! I love so much to chill put after surfing and Live music was on with Angelo! Maybe one of the best place in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Amazing restaurant and café!! We stayed in the Ahangama area for two weeks and ended up eating at Cafe Ceylon 3 times because we loved it so much. The atmosphere is great and the space is really cute! There is a big restaurant area for nighttime, a cute outdoor cafe for lunch and a nice little shop with things from local craftsmen. It’s all in one big green courtyard. The food is great – for lunch I would recommend the green curry tofu bowl! For dinner I would recommend the vegetarian burger. And you have to try the Arrack Sour! It’s sooo good! Highly recommend this place!
