I spent 3 weeks at RisingSoul in July, as a guest. Arrived with a classic burnout, left restored and energised. Absolutely loved my stay and plan to return regularly. As a Bulgarian living and working in the UK, I feel incredibly grateful for RisingSoul which brings together the best of both worlds. The place is run to a high standard and with plenty of soul. Amazing team. I felt welcome and at ease. Met friendly, interesting, and inspiring people. An ashram-style program of daily activities gave the community a nice rhythm of rest and action, social and personal time. The yoga classes were excellent. I have been here since October and it’s a really cool place if you want to be away from the city and feel less impacted by the COVID life situation and media it’s perfect. We have a fab yoga hall waterfall and beautiful social areas with church, mountain and sunrise views

Stayed here early June. What a great setup with yoga classes and easy going staff. Rowena the owner was very helpful. I did a little remote working they had a few hideaways to go and work quietly great WiFi for my work there’s a fantastic waterfall at the rear of the property and a freak storm one night brought it to its glory. There is an amazing outdoor kitchen/ eating area with chill out zones. Very good value for money 💰 also did some craft work during my visit and painted my own plant tin. The only thing for me is I’m not a vegetarian but Rowena did bring me Dirrrrrrtty kebabs from the local town will stay again hopefully next year.

I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Rising Soul retreat. I went there to reconnect with myself, return to my yoga practice while also working 3 days per week as a digital nomad. I honestly had a really great experience. The setting is in rural Bulgaria near the Balkan mountains. There are some really lovely views and hikes in the area so make sure you get out to see as much as you can! The yoga was very enjoyable and I found myself reconnecting to a meditation practice which I wasn’t expecting to do. The food was also really yummy! This is one of the places you just can feel good with other people also feeling good and having a nice time together. I realy enjoyed the yoga sessions and the other workshops because the people doing this are heartminded and very able in doing what they are doing. The nature here around is beautyfull with hicking spots. I recomend it to everyone interested in this.

A peaceful Retreat located in a quiet valley in rural Bulgaria. My family and I received a warm welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed the yoga, the atmosphere and loved the food. We’ll see you again this summer.

If you need to charge your inner batteries, to be away from stress, city living and give you a chance to improve your life quality this is the place to be. The area is very special, surrounded by hills, forests, rivers, animals… With friendly and easy going humans (and pets, lol) with who you can learn a lot in their scheduled activities as yoga, cooking… Or just getting inspirational random conversations when chilling out. By the way, yoga hall (old rebuilt barn) is awesome. In my opinion the only minus is that village is extremely quiet and small, although maybe you reach the place with that intention. Anyway you can have anything you need in Tryavna, closer town, just 10 minutes drive away.
