A great place for a relaxing offsite meeting 👌

I wish I hadn't had to write this review at all; a simple reply would have been perfectly sufficient. Last week, I submitted an inquiry through the booking portal on the website, and since I received no response, I sent an email, unfortunately without any reply whatsoever. I also tried calling several times, leaving messages on the answering machine multiple times, as did my husband, but received no return call. At one point, I actually had the brief impression that there was some human life on the other end of the line: I reached someone who informed me that there was still availability in principle, but that bookings could only be made through the booking department. When I asked if I could be transferred there, I was told they didn't want to "cause any stress." I found this interesting, because I was never concerned with stress or haste, only with the slightly eccentric notion of eventually receiving reliable information about whether a booking was possible or not. I was then promised a callback within the next hour. That callback has still not come. Even in the following days, further attempts to call and messages left on the answering machine remained fruitless, again without any sign of life. If I hadn't at least briefly reached a real person, I would now believe that this service consists only of a website, an answering machine, and good intentions. It's a real shame, because having a working contact would be a perfectly reasonable idea for a booking service.

Went on a team retreat, and it was so beautiful. The people were very kind, and the space felt warm and safe. We were able to get a lot of work done, while also taking good breaks in the lovely environment.

I attended two creative writing retreats at Coconat in a small group. The first time was wonderful; the old building has been gently renovated, so you still get a sense of its historic character. The second time was incredibly disappointing. Apparently, the original organizers handed over the running of Coconat to inexperienced interns. Two things made it impossible for me to go back to Coconat: A bottle of sparkling wine that we had put in the fridge for a birthday party (arranged with the Coconat staff) was simply stolen. When we inquired, we were met with nothing more than a shrug. The second issue was the blatant sexism we encountered at Coconat. We are older women, some of us queer. When we waited in line for food, we were served last, and the man at the counter was busy flirting (quite uncomfortable, even for the women being flirted with). When we complained, we were the problem. Sorry, Coconat. Never again.

One of my favorite places ever :) Beautiful nature, quietness, stimulating conversations, amazing food, spaces to give creativity free rein. And the library, with its fireplace, comfy couches, book selection and several musical instruments, is like a charging station. Lock me in and throw away the keys! 🔥

A conference venue with soul. A stunning landscape away from everything allows for focus and concentration.

I was looking for accommodation during a cycling trip and was very curious about what Coconat had to offer. I arrived on Sunday evening, and although the official check-in time at reception had already passed, the community managers immediately took care of me and the check-in process. I found the atmosphere in the building and on the grounds to be calm, relaxed, and inspiring. Everything is simple, largely self-explanatory, and invites exploration and use. I stayed in the dorm for one night and slept wonderfully. I would like to try the place out for work sometime. I'll be back.

A great place to switch off and work in a focused manner.

It was lovely. A little bit of everything. Many different projects come together here. A perfect place for a workation with friends. But we were there more to relax and unwind.

At first I thought it was a bit too eco-friendly for me, but the people and the nature combined to make it a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back!

The price-performance ratio is absolutely terrible. It's like a youth hostel at a 4-star hotel price. We only booked bed and breakfast, but still had to pay an additional €12 per night for coworking! – supposedly for coffee, tea, and the cookies on the counter. Since we weren't there during the day, this was unacceptable. The outdoor area is unappealing, and the room was very basic. Never again!

From Berlin, you can call to a Driver to Pick you in the S-Bahn and leave you there (please do it...by Bus Takes so looong) only in German. But its nice the place, the service are really nice, you can threat yourseöf with some biscoit and tea... I Love IT to Take a Rest..

Fancy vegetarian/vegan cuisine, a bit too much. The whole place is very tacky, and the service leaves much to be desired! Impersonal.

Workation as a short break. Very cool. Even at the furthest end of the property, there's Wi-Fi and fast internet. Dude, get outside... okay, here you go!

Unfortunately, you can't go there anymore! No food, no drinks. The manor house is now only for "digital nomads" and conferences... What a shame. I used to come here often...

Came for the co-working, stayed for Antonio's incredible escape room

Beautiful location in the countryside, perfect for escaping the big city. The food was extremely delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Also suitable for large groups as a retreat/workshop.

This place cannot be recommended. The rooms are spartan, and you have to share the bathroom and toilet with strangers. The conference room was furnished with chairs that were unbearable after just one hour. The projector was completely outdated. The food is more than just an acquired taste; there are no alternatives. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Instructions were ignored, and criticism was disregarded. So, we will not be coming back; everyone agreed on that.

I just have good things to say about Coconat. It’s such a lovely place with a lot of motivating spaces to work, everything is always very clean, the food is amazing, they have vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is very helpful and polite. I highly recommend this place to connect with nature and find motivation to work

Highly recommended! Relaxed, warm, and idyllic atmosphere. Super friendly and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast and lunch with vegan and vegetarian options! Clean and lovingly furnished rooms with comfortable beds and good Wi-Fi. We were fortunate enough to spend two days here, including one overnight stay, and were very happy with our visit. A great place to relax and work. The Wi-Fi is really good everywhere. Everything is kept simple, which made it all the more appealing to me. The food is delicious and the team is very friendly. A nice place for stay in weekends or business meetings. There are plenty of rooms. The design of the building is back to the beginning of 19th Century. The staff are very welcoming and always smiling. The swimming pool needs cleaning and care. The food that they offer is only suits vegan. Don't forget to leave the place before 18:30 as there is no public transport afterwards. Have a nice stay.

A wonderful spot. We rented a room for a group project on a Sunday, including lunch. All the necessary materials were provided, and the room had a lovely atmosphere. The vegetarian lunch was delicious. The entire property, with its buildings and open spaces, offers many inviting and unique possibilities. It was a beautiful and productive Sunday, made possible by Coconat and its wonderful atmosphere.

A truly unique place! The surroundings and the courtyard are beautiful and perfect for relaxing and unwinding after work. The team is fantastic: always helpful and friendly. For new guests, it might be helpful to have name tags or something similar to make it easier to identify who is available and in charge, and who is a guest. The food was delicious, even though it was vegetarian. I would have liked a bit more warmth and attention to detail in the room's decor; it felt a little spartan to me, but that's a matter of taste, of course. Nevertheless, highly recommended, and I'd love to come back. Keep up the great work!

Super nice place to relax (and work).

A hotel with a difference. It's not just a hotel; it's also a seminar center and a co-working space. It offers a wide range of opportunities, from IT to skilled trades. You can stay overnight in a tent or in comfortable rooms. Drinks and food are available on a relaxed self-service basis. There are set mealtimes. The food is good and simple. At dinner, the main courses ran out very quickly and weren't replenished. The staff are very friendly.

We, three cyclists passing through, found ourselves without accommodation that evening, our options looking hopeless, when we were spontaneously and warmly welcomed at Coconat. It's a fantastic place with many little spots and activities, including a pond with a raft, a sauna, swings, a pizzeria, and delicious food. It's not only a great place to work, but also a perfect place to stop and relax during our travels. Thank you for your spontaneous help.

In my opinion, it still doesn't get enough attention... whether it's coworking, using the workshops (3D printer, CNC milling machine, etc. with expert guidance for private or business use), it's perfect for combining work with relaxation...

It's a very pretty place; they have delicious cakes and lots of other lovely things to buy. It must be absolutely beautiful there in the summer.

Love everything about this place- coworking , conscious living, people and nature.

Great place with a good atmosphere! The two of us stayed at COCONAT from Friday to Sunday to work on a book project. We had fun and were able to concentrate. In my opinion, COCONAT is a well-run co-working space that also offers food and accommodation. The location: It's a beautifully renovated manor house with plenty of space. A barn, courtyard, pond, and park with old trees and meadows are all part of the property. It's lovely to take a short walk or sit outside. The rooms: They're hotel-standard and very quiet. There are also other accommodation options; I saw some tents. The atmosphere: We had a long night with some of the people who work there. Young, international (ARG, BRA, HK, UKR, AUS), relaxed. Don't expect a professionally run business hotel. However, you can still get a coffee or a drink from the fairly well-stocked bar at 2 a.m. The cups, plates, and furniture are secondhand, which creates a cozy atmosphere. The work atmosphere was very open; we got to know several groups and individuals. Additional amenities: Pizza is available on Saturdays, and anyone who wants can order massages or use the sauna. There are also plenty of cultural activities on offer. Many more things are still in development, so it's worth asking. Service: There's almost always someone from the team around, and they quickly and professionally try to resolve any issues. We couldn't find our dorm room (room 1!!) at night, but we had a service number that helped us immediately. My only criticism: I wasn't entirely satisfied with the food. A single jam for breakfast? The estimated 20 different cereals didn't really help. But I was happy about the waffles. Lunch was a vegan "one size fits all" option: vegetables with salad. That gets 2 out of 5 stars. The younger generation might prioritize politically correct food—for me, it has to taste good, and presentation matters too. Friends, there's more to come... I was really happy about the concert by a local band on Saturday evening. Sausage in the kettle. Just relaxed, partly good, partly amateurish (why the bunny costumes?? :), it was a warm atmosphere. You could also tell that the project is well-established in the region.

The one star is solely for the nature and the internet connection, which was adequate (and because, unfortunately, zero stars isn't an option). Hygiene leaves much to be desired, or rather, is practically nonexistent: dirty plates and glasses, and the tables aren't wiped. The floors are filthy. No wonder I got such severe food poisoning. This is absolutely unacceptable. There was also someone else's hair in the bathroom, and the shower curtain was definitely past its prime. The bathroom also smelled strongly of sewage in the evenings/at night.

I stayed at Coconat for three nights in September for work and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The good points were: - the food and tea selection, although the vegan option wasn't quite worth the price - the availability of table tennis, badminton, etc. - the location and the surrounding nature - the massage!!! (Costs extra, but worth it) - Large rooms with comfortable beds, soft towels, and good shower gel - Large garden - The concept itself The following were unpleasant: - The lack of cleanliness (work surfaces with hair and crumbs, floors, sauna, brown yoga mats, etc.) - At times, we didn't feel welcome, and it was unclear who was available - Communication beforehand was complicated and chaotic - Arriving by public transport is inconvenient; a shuttle from the train station would be great - The coffee - Too few workspaces for making phone calls with good chairs - The bathroom smelled really unpleasant - Almost all the cups were brown inside and chipped; dishes weren't always clean - The Wi-Fi in the room and dining area was sometimes unstable - Ancient upholstered furniture, etc., made the rooms feel musty in some places - Thin walls; I woke up at night because of people in the hallway Overall: It's a shame that the great potential of this place and concept remains so untapped! I would actually really like to do something like that, but for me it didn't have much to do with retreat and feeling good.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be... It's a shame; from the outside, it still looks like a restaurant.

The pizza is delicious. Organization isn't Coconat's strong suit.

Here I'm reviewing the pizzeria, which is open every Saturday from 12 pm to 8:30 pm. Their pizza is crispy, topped with plenty of cheese and herbs. Delicious, and I highly recommend it. The atmosphere is rustic and has an alternative vibe. So, it's not really for conservative people, but rather for those with an alternative or esoteric bent.

Highly recommended!

This place has such a great energy that helps you focus and study or work better online. The internet connection is good, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the team is friendly and helpful. And about the hotel room: I can't remember the last time I slept so well. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was very quiet.

This is the most beautiful co working place that I have been staying. All the people are friendly, kind, with high level of services and nice prices. I recommend Coconat for every single person who want to visit this area. Amazing!!!

The grounds and facilities are very nice for workshops or relaxing holidays. The food is very good, and the rooms are lovely. There's a sauna and a pond for cooling off. However, the price-performance ratio is poor. The staff and service are unpleasant. The employees are untrained and unfriendly. We were there as a group and, upon arrival, were expected to pay for several extras on top of the already high prices, which hadn't been agreed upon beforehand. Other groups wanted to use the room we rented in the evening, and one day, pizza was offered in the afternoon instead of lunch, which hadn't been announced in advance. Questions were answered rudely, and the reception is often unattended. Since one needs to feel comfortable and well-treated at such a retreat, we would not book this accommodation again due to the poor service.

My favourite place for working, relaxing in nature and meeting wonderful like-minded people!

A fantastic concept: work in a focused environment and then relax in beautiful natural surroundings, complete with a swimming pond and sauna. You quickly feel at home in the manor house – and that's exactly the concept. It's not suitable for people who absolutely need meat, as the food is vegetarian. And if you need to make a lot of phone calls, you should check beforehand how that will work, as there's only one room for (video) calls. But since we enjoyed it so much, we're not deducting any points for that. There should definitely be more places like this!

All show and no substance! Great website – but the glamour and understated yet beautiful elegance are nowhere to be found in person.

Just give it a try! For anything that doesn't quite fit at first (mattresses, food, or whatever...), a suitable solution will be found.

A place so beautiful in its own way, yet so unconventional, creative, and quirky that you have to experience it to understand it... Perfect for focused work, meeting like-minded people, and especially for solo travelers/business travelers, quickly connecting with others if desired. I felt very comfortable and will definitely return!

A beautiful, welcoming, pleasant, and fun place that allows you to focus on work but doesn't neglect integration with nature and care for food and sustainability. An excellent atmosphere for focused work and true relaxation for the mind. A very rural and peaceful area that offers city dwellers everything they could want. It's also just a stone's throw from Berlin. The people there are very international and friendly. The communal lunch at 1 p.m. is designed to encourage interaction. You can move freely around the entire premises and simply settle down anywhere to work or relax, whether it's the park, the library, or the terrace. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and consistently good everywhere. Perfect for anyone who only needs a laptop. In addition to co-working, you can also stay overnight or take courses. Events are also offered. Overall, it's very clean and well-maintained (often through self-care). For me, it's a great location to work in a different way and gain new inspiration.

Great place to work, launch a project, get together with your team. Nice food, plenty of space to work, great hosts, yoga etc. Very relaxed environment.

We went there for a 2-day company retreat to define the strategy for the upcoming year and couple this with our Christmas party. The experience was great! The location is nice and there's been a lot of work put in to get it so far, and from what our hosts told us, they have a bunch of improvements planned. The team was very welcoming and catered for our every need and made us feel right at home. We could immediately start working without any overhead. Personally, I have another reason to give the Coconat team five stars: I lost a glove in front of the house right before leaving, they found it and sent it to me per post as soon as I informed them I was missing it. For a moment I had lost hope, but the Coconat team continues to take good care of their guests, even after they leave.

Interesting hub. Relaxation is possible despite work.

Great place to work on projects alone or in groups, concentrate in a Nature Like Environment free from big cities distractions. Great Internet, rooms with Flipcharts and white boards to visualize ideas
