I would give 10 stars to HO-Madeira.The most important thing is of course the stable and fast internet connection (500 MBit Fibre). I never had any troubles with Videochats and Screensharing in HD. The villa offers enough space if one needs solitude, otherwise you can enjoy co-working with the other guests. It is a “everything goes – nothing must” environment, meaning: it’s up to you if you want to join group hikes with your co-workers on the weekend or if you want to explore the island by yourself (or just chill on the couch). I personally enjoyed the joint dinners where everyone gets to cook for the group. I also love the garden and its guardian (Lotus). I stayed in a single room with large bed and access to the balcony where I worked in the morning (see pic). I stayed for 3 weeks and I will definitely come back for another workation. Highly recommended!
