Fantastic co-living! Beautiful, quiet location, large villa and garden, great community with lots of shared outings and cozy evenings at home :)

Over the years of solo traveling, I have learned that no matter how breath taking a place is- you won’t enjoy it if you don’t have the right company. I always had quality people around to partake in adventures, workout, go for a hike or a swim, or even a post work sunset. There were so many recommendations for more local hikes, food and viewpoints. I fell in love with the island. Specifically I loved the aspect of being in the mountains, 20 minutes to the best sunset spot above the clouds and yet 15 minute drive from a sandy beach- the perfect mix of everything! I would travel back again and again, and many do! Lastly, Lotus (the dog) provides so much joy and comfort.

I spent 2 weeks in Homeoffice Madeira. It was my first coliving and coworking experience. House is very spacious, clean. Garden is so big and beautiful around the house, there is also a fountain, workout space. Very peaceful surroundings for relax. They have a beatiful dog, Lotus! Highly recommended this place.

I’m coming here for the second time and it’s one of the best colivings I’ve been to. Every day after work there is something to do together with other colivers. I loved going for the hikes, having a dinner in the city or just relaxing at the beach

I had a truly wonderful time at the villa and can absolutely recommend it. The villa is spacious, spotlessly clean, and the garden is beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing. But the best part was the time spent with the group and the lovely people there. Hiking together, boating, baking, or simply having movie nights – that's what made the two weeks I spent there so special. With the two cars, we could explore the island at any time. Pico do Arieiro is also only about 20 minutes away and a perfect spot for sunrises and sunsets. I'll definitely be back! :) I'm so grateful for the unforgettable memories I made there and all the people I met during my time there.

They have a lovely dog called Lotus, enough said. On a more serious note, don't be afraid about this location. While indeed you need a (shared) car to get to places, that's kind of true anywhere on Madeira. The location is pretty high up which makes the drives "fun" and it's ideally located for a ton of hikes on that side of the island. The vibe here is very different to your traditional colivings like Outsite. It's more focused on communal, doing stuff together after work, much more opportunities for the social which I loved during my 3 week stay here! A+ to the host Jordyn as well who spent a lot of time and effort making everyone's stay unforgettable!

I had a wonderful week remote working from Homeoffice and exploring this magical island. From the start I was warmly welcomed into the community by our host Jordyn who played a big part in making the experience so fun, smooth and organised! It was so lovely to work alongside fellow nomads, with plenty of space and great wifi throughout the villa. In the evenings, we all got to explore together and connect while watching sunsets, sunrise or hiking! The terrace is a favourite spot, watching the clouds below move over the island, and of course Lotus the lovable dog kept us all company too. The community aspect was so enjoyable, just being conscious of the collective, sharing, helping, being present, taking care of each other and the house. Thank you Homeoffice and Jordyn, it was such a great experience and would recommend to anyone who has an open heart and wants to explore the island with like-minded people. Thank you! xx

The one thing among many travel destinations that blew me away so much that I want to come back again and again: - Home office: a beautiful villa with a large garden, many workspaces from the balcony and terrace to the coworking space and my own desk in my room - Hikes: for me, a reset after every workday. Figo has great suggestions for hikes; they're more beautiful than the official trails, and you usually don't meet another soul - Community: a super relaxed and very diverse group that comes to work from home from all over the world; everyone is warm, open, and helpful

I spent 4 weeks at Madeira Homeoffice Coliving and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the community is great and I met a lot of interesting people during my stay. The host also did a great job creating a welcoming atmosphere, helping us with different requests. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, and having a pizza and BBQ area outside was cool, especially as we did some cooking nights. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature, making it a good place to focus at work and to relax after. However, there were also some disappointments. One issue was the lack of transparency around car rentals. The website mentions that cars are available, but during my stay I paid approximately €390 for rentals, excluding fuel, which wasn’t clear to me beforehand. Another issue was the room. Because I arrived one week later than originally planned, my room was changed (as we agreed). Although I had seen a video beforehand, in reality it felt very different from my initial booked one. The room was extremely small and located under a sloped roof, which made a large part of the space difficult to use. It honestly felt more like an improvised room than a proper rental room. The private bathroom was also missing several basic things such as a mirror, a bath mat, hooks for towels, and a shower shelf for toiletries. Even the toilet door had no lock. After two weeks I changed rooms, which was a big improvement, but I was charged the weekly rate for the second room instead of a monthly rate, even though I was staying at the coliving for a month. That didn’t feel very fair. There were also several days where the internet was very slow or not functional. We were offered alternatives tho such as sim data or day-pass to coworking places in Funchal, but my expectations when I book a coliving focused around digital nomads is to have reliable internet. Overall, Madeira Homeoffice has a wonderful community, a beautiful outdoor space, and a dedicated host. At the same time, I think there is room for improvement when it comes to transparency, room standards, and pricing policies.

I had a great time, but… My three weeks at the coliving place were wonderful. I met some amazing people, and the community manager, Lilith, did a fantastic job. However, a few things bothered me, which is why I'm not giving it five stars. Since I would have appreciated knowing about these things beforehand, I'm sharing them here in the hopes that they might help others and lead to improvements: I wasn't aware of how remote the house is, meaning you really need a car for everything. The nearest mini-supermarket is a 30-minute walk away, and the large Continente supermarket is a 20-minute drive. The only thing within walking distance is a levada walk, which is very beautiful, but it's not something you do every day. Next time, I would probably book a coliving place in or around Funchal. In my experience, the weather is generally better on the coast than up in the mountains. From the website, I understood that there were cars belonging to the accommodation that everyone could use. Cars are rented weekly, but depending on the rental agreement, not everyone is allowed to drive them. They also vary in price, which adds up to quite a few unexpected costs. I think it would be more sensible to lease two cars for the entire year. There's a €30 cleaning fee, and all residents have to leave the house on Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm for cleaning, which is incredibly annoying, by the way. The house never seemed spotless to me. After a week, the floors in the rooms are only swept; the bed linens aren't changed until two weeks later. Unfortunately, my room was forgotten after the second week. When I pointed it out, they acknowledged it, but they didn't change my bed linens. I ended up washing them myself… Because the house is so remote, everyone does one big grocery shop and splits the costs. This meant I also paid for a lot of food that I didn't even eat. I think it would make more sense if only basic items like salt, pepper, oil, eggs, and bread were purchased for everyone, and everyone bought the rest for themselves. In general, I think there's a lack of management. Everything is basically dumped on the community manager, who is only there for a short time and also has a regular job.

An incredible experience. I work 9-5 but still managed to explore and see so much of Madeira. I booked 2 weeks and extended to 3. I met so many great people of different nationalities and bonded with the people who came and went. Then a few of us who made friends headed to Tenerife. Will I ever go home? Maybe. Will I return to Homeoffice Madeira? For sure. Big thanks to Claudia and Figo for bringing us all together and a huge thank you to the hosts during my stay - Vivi, Laila, and Lili. Some notes to the unsure: bring hiking boots! Drink poncha! Live for sunsets and sunrises in the mountains! Prepare to make connections that will last!

Best coliving I ever ecperienced and definitely the best on the island - (of more than 10)

I spent three weeks working from home in Madeira in April and had a fantastic time. The villa is nestled peacefully in the mountains, and the sea view was a highlight every morning. It was perfect for working: a dedicated desk with a monitor in the room, a stable internet connection, and plenty of quiet spots in the garden or inside the house. After work, there was never a dull moment. Figo is a wonderful host and always has ideas, whether it's a short hike, a festival in the next town, an evening on the beach, or simply enjoying a poncha at a nearby bar. The time spent together and the great group quickly fostered a wonderful sense of camaraderie. Lotus, the resident dog, added to the relaxed atmosphere. The villa is superbly equipped, and the cars make it easy to reach all sorts of spots on the island. For me, it was the ideal mix of work, relaxation, and exploring the island. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location, well-equipped rooms and various spaces for efficient working. And a garden that invites you to linger. I had a great group in the home office and really enjoyed the after-work hikes, activities and cooking together. I would come back at any time and hope to see the lovely people I met there again. The best coliving experience I have had so far! I am so grateful I got to experience Madeira for the first time through HomeOffice Madeira because they truly made it special. The house has such a positive energy and is really well organized. Everyone had their own space, but it was easy to connect and spend time together if you wanted to. I have never felt more productive while still keeping a great balance between work and free time thanks to the daily afterwork hikes and activities. The hikes, the food, and the overall vibe at HomeOffice were amazing. I would absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the real beauty of Madeira.

I've been to Madeira several times now and have tried out various co-working and co-living spots on the island, but Homeoffice Madeira is by far my absolute favourite for an outstanding workation. The comfort of the spacious building plus the technical setup are striking: ergonomic workstations, well-equipped rooms and, above all, stable, fast internet. Whether for video calls, deep work or larger uploads, everything runs smoothly here. But what really makes Homeoffice Madeira special is the community. It's hard to put into words how warm, open and inspiring the interaction is. You immediately feel welcome - whether you're looking for social activities, thrilling hikes, or prefer to keep to yourself. Here, everyone can find exactly what they need without any pressure, but with a lot of heart. I have never experienced this mix of professionalism, feel-good factor and genuine community in any other location. That's why I like to come back again and again and can only recommend Homeoffice Madeira to everyone without any doubt.

I spent three weeks at Homeoffice Madeira in March for a workation, and I will definitely be back! The house is situated in a quiet mountain location with a breathtaking sea view, especially in the mornings from the balcony when the sun rises – simply magical. It's the perfect place to work and relax. For working from home, there are various workspaces available: a private desk with a large monitor in the room, a coworking space, or a sunny spot in the spacious garden. Despite the peaceful location, you're not far from Funchal or other larger towns. The amenities leave nothing to be desired: several bathrooms, a large communal kitchen, a pizza oven, and many thoughtful touches instantly make the house feel like a home away from home. And the biggest highlight was undoubtedly Lotus, probably the friendliest and most relaxed dog in all of Madeira. Two cars are available for shared use. This is ideal for quickly setting off on one of the many fantastic hikes after work. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was our host, Figo. He puts his heart and soul into ensuring everyone feels welcome. His organization is top-notch, and his guided hikes along hidden trails, far from the tourist crowds, are a real highlight. Figo knows the island like no other and always knows where the sun is shining or what to do even when it rains. I wholeheartedly recommend Homeoffice Madeira to anyone who wants to combine work and relaxation in a truly special atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

I recently had an incredible two-week workation at 'Homeoffice Madeira,' and I will be definitely going there again sometime. The host, Figo, truly made the experience exceptional. His organization was flawless, and he went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fantastic time. One of the highlights was the hiking excursions Figo organized. He knows the island intimately and took us on breathtaking trails far from the usual tourist crowds He's also incredibly fun to be around, always bringing positive energy and ponchaaaa to the group Beyond the adventures, Figo is genuinely caring. He's always there to help if you have any issues, which was really reassuring. The house itself is essentially a spacious villa with perfect, reliable internet and ample room for both working and relaxing. The huge garden is a awesome and filled with fruits that you can just grab and eat. It also has a stone pizza oven, which was of course used ;) Overall, I felt incredibly comfortable and had so much fun during my stay. If you're looking for a productive and enjoyable workation in Madeira with a fantastic host, 'Homeoffice Madeira' is the perfect choice.

I spend 2 weeks in Homeoffice Madeira - I could not think of a better place to work. Afterwork activities are organised by the group or by the hosts. This is what makes this co-living so outstanding compared to others, the hosts are really caring about each member of the group, they try to show you the most wonderful places and hikes on this island, to make your time there unforgettable. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, kitchen, cleaning machine, towels, tv, extra screens to work… Rooms are very clean (cleaned weekly) and in very good condition. Secret hint - check out the amazing sunrise from the balcony 🙂 Absolutely recommended!

I had an amazing two-week stay at Homeoffice Madeira! The place perfectly balances productivity and relaxation, with great workspaces and a peaceful garden including the lovely dog Lotus. People in the group were always up for an adventure and I did so many cool activities I would not have done by myself (canyoning, going to another island, Porto Santo and much more). Another great feature was the two shared cars, which made it easy to explore Madeira at our own pace. A truly heartfelt recommendation!!! I spent a week (unfortunately only) at Home Office Madeira in February and I'm already planning my next trip! The house is beautifully situated in the mountains. The sunrise from the balcony is breathtaking. Everything is perfectly organized. Groceries were already bought for the arrival of the new guests, and we cooked and ate dinner together right away. Two cars are available for use at any time. Each room is equipped with a workspace – but there are also plenty of other workspaces, even in the garden! We did something together every evening. The group bonded incredibly quickly. Figo was always there to support us and was available around the clock if we had any questions! I will definitely come back and wholeheartedly recommend Home Office Madeira!

Whether it's a workation, a vacation, or a hiking week, it's always a fantastic experience! You'll always find a great group of people who make you feel like you're among friends. Figo is a wonderful host and is always ready to help with the best tips, even at short notice. The usual hotels are nothing like the Villa! It has everything you need: good workspaces (including quiet spots), excellent Wi-Fi, plenty of bathrooms, a kitchen and pizza oven, and the lovely dog, Lotus. But the best part is the off-the-beaten-path hikes—you can't do them without a guide. Co-living, nature, and even the occasional party—you'll find it all here! Hope to see you soon :)

Hiking Week November 2024 The villa is absolutely beautiful and in a peaceful location. The sunrises from some of the rooms and the terrace are breathtaking 🙌🏼. The rooms are equipped with everything you could possibly need, the atmosphere in the house is wonderful, the hospitality is fantastic, and the hikes with the local guides are a truly unique experience… I could go on and on about how wonderful it is… I will definitely be back soon 🫶🏼

A wonderful place to spend a great time with other people on Madeira! The detached villa with a beautifully landscaped and well-kept garden invites you to linger on sunny days but is also an oasis of peace during winter! Two weeks, many adventures and hikes later, I can say: I will definitely come back! The host Figo is usually on site and always has suitable tips and tricks for activities and ideas on how to round off the working day or make the most of the weekend in nature and the plenty of hikes on Madeira. (Please read the brochure beforehand - it already contains lots of hikes etc!!! ;) ) Everything is super organised, well thought out and, above all, thrives on the community of people on site! Everything can, nothing has to! Whether it's a weekend excursion together or a short hike around the house along a levada, karting and cooking dinner together or going to a restaurant - everyone usually gets together and activities are planned together, but "me-time" or small group activities are also possible. I personally find the community spirit and the presence of the hosts unique and this is what makes the Homeoffice Madeira spirit! Thank you so much for the wonderful time, Figo&Team! The stay in HomeOffice was pleasant from the very moment I was greeted by the super friendly host Eli. I literally came to the place with no expectations whatsoever and it surpassed them on all fronts. From the beautiful views from the house, to the well oiled system of the CoLiving and CoWorking itself. The place attracts like minded people, with some of which you could easily form long lasting friendships. Anyone can make the suggestions for afterwork activities, so being spontaneous is really the way to go. Again shout out to the host Eli, who is making sure the things are running smoothly and that everyone is up to date with the activities. She really is the soul of the house.

Definitely one of the best times I had in a long time. I met so many new people which I can call my friends now and with whom I could enjoy all the different activities on the island. From delicious pizza nights to beautiful hikes, there are things for everyone to do. The views in the morning are amazing and lifts the mood when one has to start with the first business calls in the morning. Eli had been a wonderful hostess and was making sure that all of us felt welcome and had the most wonderful time. Will come back for sure!

A workation in paradise! Everything was just perfect – the people, the location, and the organization. My co-founder and I spent two weeks on the island and thoroughly enjoyed our time working from home in Madeira. We lacked for nothing and had a very friendly, family-like atmosphere. We went hiking, surfing, eating, and partying with all the other participants. I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

It is a great place to work remote and you always meet awesome people

After two weeks back in everyday life, you truly appreciate the time spent working from home in Madeira. I had the opportunity to spend three weeks there in August and can absolutely recommend it! The Madeira home office offers everything you need to work effectively during the day and enjoy yourself in the evenings. In addition to dedicated workspaces in every room, there are other pleasant workspaces throughout the house, on the balcony, or in the beautifully landscaped garden, all with a good internet connection. The highlights, however, are the evening activities. Figo is a fantastic host and always has some suggestions for what to do in the evening: whether it's a local festival in a neighboring town, a hike through the beautiful countryside and mountains, a relaxing evening on the beach, or a few drinks in one of the nearby poncha bars, it's even more fun with so many new friends from the house!

I had a great time at Homeoffice Madeira. The place looks exactly like it does in the pictures, which was a big relief. I was a bit worried about privacy, especially for important client meetings, but that wasn’t an issue at all. Everything went smoothly, and the atmosphere was just right. Figo, the host, is awesome. He goes above and beyond for his guests, making sure you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. It was impressive to see how many people were return visitors – that really says a lot about the place! I’m already planning my next stay because two weeks just wasn’t enough. If you’re looking for a laid-back but productive work environment, this is the spot! :-)

The best! If you are a digital nomad then the Home Office Madeira, in my opinion, ranks as the #1 destination I have been. I had so much fun. Overview: We booked a two-week stay with my partner, and it was our first workation. The experience was simply fantastic and exceeded our expectations. Location: The accommodation is very remote and secluded, which we found to be a huge plus. The house is enormous, with multiple rooms and three shared bathrooms. The communal kitchen, dining area, and living room are spacious and well-equipped. The garden is particularly impressive, featuring a pizza stone oven, various seating areas (also suitable for working), a ping-pong table, and much more. The property has a charming, rustic flair, and while it shows some signs of age, this only adds to its unique character. Additionally, there are two cars available for the community to share, making it easy to drive to Funchal, Pico do Arieiro, and other points of interest despite the remote location. Community Spirit: The sense of community is a central aspect here. Although we were initially skeptical because we enjoy our privacy, we were thrilled from day one. We met so many wonderful people from different countries like Japan, the USA, and Ireland. This cultural diversity was very enriching. Living together, going on after-work excursions, cooking, and cleaning together always worked out very well. Host Figo: Figo, the host, has been living on Madeira for a long time and can provide many valuable tips that you won’t find on the internet or in travel guides. This added value is priceless, and you can tell that he is passionate about helping guests collect unique experiences on the island. For this reason alone, we would definitely return. Conclusion: For us, it was the best first workation experience, motivating us to plan such stays regularly. We highly recommend this accommodation and host Figo, and we hope many more guests can enjoy this wonderful experience.

After a month of coliving in my "Home Office Madeira," all I can say is: I absolutely have to do it again! It was my first time working from abroad and also my first time coliving. I felt at home from the very first moment. Every day was different and beautiful in its own way! Especially because of the wonderful people around me and because the whole concept is so well thought out from start to finish. I'm looking forward to more great hikes, pizza nights, evenings on the beach, and all the other amazing things I've experienced here over the past few weeks! ❤️

Biggest recommendation! The house is huge and pretty and the host is super friendly!

I spent a whole month (April) at the homeoffice Madeira and it was the best co-working experience I had so far. The locatotion of the villa is amazing, the garden is huge and so beautiful and the sunrises are stunning. It is perfectly organized, the work environment is great and you can be sure you have the most experienced Madeira hikers to host you! We did so many nice after-work-excursions, so even if you work normal hours, you have plenty of time to explore the island. I can 100 % recommend it and would (and will!) definitely come back!

I visited Homeoffice Madeira for two weeks in March and April and I highly recommend it to everyone <3 The house is large, the internet works perfectly, and excursions are organized daily for the guests plus Figo/Peter. There are two rental cars, and activities are always planned as a group, with suggestions welcome. The atmosphere is amazing, and you can make great friends in just two weeks, although if I had known, I would have stayed longer. I recommend two to three weeks if you really want to get to know Madeira thoroughly while working remotely. Get used to seeing new waterfalls every day (thanks to Peter), hiking trails that no one else knows about (thanks to Figo), seeing whales and dolphins, and meeting people from all over the world (although I have to admit, a lot of Germans, haha). Then I can assure you that this is your home. P.S. If you're gluten intolerant, no problem ;) They manage it like this: on the day you go to the supermarket, you buy both gluten-containing products and gluten-free products, and everything is divided among everyone. It's fair. The supermarket has a whole section dedicated to gluten-free products. In short, I had a wonderful experience and made great friends all over the world. I sincerely want to go back and bring some friends from Madrid so they can enjoy the experience <3 I highly recommend it!!!

If you just want to get away from home, sit around a campfire in the evening, play five rounds of table tennis between meetings, and hike all evening with incredible views, then the villa is definitely not for you... #secureyourfreespot

One of those experiences you don't know you have to have beforehand. Despite the regular work, you feel like you're on vacation every afternoon; the concept is brilliant. I felt very comfortable and settled in quickly. The combination of undisturbed work and co-living works really well. It was a lot of fun getting to know new people, experiencing cool hikes together, and having relaxing evenings at the villa. A definite plus: most of the hikes are off the beaten track and have so much to offer. Thank you for the time, and I will definitely be back.

I visited the Homeoffice Madeira for 2 weeks in April and can recommend it to anyone. The house is perfect for working and after-work activities (fast internet on the property, various workplaces in the house and in the garden for quiet and productive work, as well as space to relax). Everything is neat and clean and Figo makes sure that everything is well organized and attaches great importance to good social interaction within the group. Always cool and friendly people with whom you enjoy spending time after work and exploring the island. There are two rental cars and the activities are always planned together as a group. Figo has some insider tips on how to get to know the island from a beautiful and non-touristy side. I have already booked my next workation!

Great experience ! I visited Homeoffice Madeira for a week. Although we had bad weather during the entire week, in the house there was always a nice atmosphere and people who are up to some activity after work. Working experience was very smooth, as I had the option to join others who were working together or be in my room use my own table and external monitor. These options were available also for other aspects such as eating or hiking, which I believe is a great benefit for people who would like to experience both to join a group or enjoy their own company. Figo did a great job to keep things in order as a host and from time to time blend in with us and made our experience even more pleasant. The place offers rental cars, shared & individual grocery shopping lists and local tipps, which solves a lot of time and effort upon visiting a new place, leaving you much more room to focus on your work and leisure. I would say 1 week was a bit short for me, since it took me a couple of days to understand how all the amenities work and start enjoying the place. I definitely recommend Homeoffice Madeira !

Let me just say this: I cried on the flight home! 😅 From day one, I felt completely at ease and, above all, at home in the villa. It's so comfortably furnished and has everything you could possibly need. There are so many places to work (besides your own room with a monitor and desk) – in the house, in the garden, on the terrace, the balcony… The view, the garden with areas for working, relaxing (including a hammock 🦥), and grilling/making pizza, and especially the sunrises 🌅 that you can watch from the house, topped it all off. There's also a small fitness area, a trampoline, and a ping-pong table. 😎 Figo is always available to answer questions and knows the island incredibly well, so you get to know the most beautiful and special spots for hiking and simply enjoying yourself, while you're having a really great time working from home with wonderful people :)! We had two fantastic weeks at the Home Office Villa. It had everything we needed for working (good Wi-Fi, monitors, and quiet spots – preferably outside in the sun with a sea view ☺️). An absolute highlight (besides our dog Lotus, of course 🐶) was the co-living aspect of the community. We met some lovely people and did lots of things together, even after our stay at the villa had officially ended. Everything was incredibly well-organized, and Figo, our host, was always helpful – even at very short notice – and had great insider tips for all kinds of preferences, far from the usual tourist spots. This was my first time experiencing coliving, and it definitely whetted my appetite for more! The people were incredibly cool, and we quickly became a real community. The villa, the grounds, and the immediate surroundings are a dream! I always felt comfortable because the living arrangements and the organization (a huge thank you again to Figo, who did an outstanding job as host!) worked perfectly. The villa offers plenty of space and equipment for working. Of course, the leisure activities after work were especially wonderful; we went on many impressive hikes and explored the breathtaking nature and the many different facets of Madeira, cooked together, ate and drank together, relaxed, and so on. Workation gets a new meaning here. I was impressed by the smooth organization and coliving experience. Cooking, grocery shopping and planning hikes together was joyful and reduces costs. And cuddling Lotus (the house dog) was so relaxing. I know a lot of dogs, this one is special and very kind to every guest. So no worries Lotus is a ad on, no matter if you are a dog person or not. Figo is always on hand for advice, he knows the best hiking spots, restaurants, coffee places and much more. Even when you’re working and just having the afternoons, you are experiencing so much adventure. And even it is not officially organized, somebody is always organizing something and you really don‘t nerd to plan ahead and still see so much. (Even rental cars are available.) It’s worth staying there and spending your time at this place.

I was very happy working from home in Madeira. It's a real community, and despite the weekly rotation, you quickly settle in thanks to the many activities and feel comfortable with the others. I arrived completely unprepared regarding hiking trails and sights, but Figo is the best person to ask, and my time was packed with wonderful experiences. Highly recommended!

To say staying at homeoffice is comparable to an airbnb, hotel, hostel, or even typical coloving/coworking space would be a gross misrepresentation and a disservice to what has been built. This is a true community of people who check in as strangers, live as roommates, and leave as family. The living space is cozy and welcoming, shared tasks and dinners create deep friendship bonds, and daily hikes and outings ensure there’s always something fun to do after work hours. I only regret not staying longer.

A wonderful atmosphere in a green setting provides excellent working conditions. Living together is very pleasant, and everyone contributes. The highlights are group hikes to places you would certainly never have discovered on your own, and pizza nights! Highly recommended!

Actually would like to keep this little Paradies a secret, but since Homeoffice Madeira is about community, I will spread the word! I booked a two week stay first half of December 2023 without big research before, just saw the Google results, checked the pictures and read the reviews. And even though everything looked really promising, still had the feeling of 50/50 chances for an awesome stay or maybe downer. But the weeks actually exceeded my expectations! Nice people, cozy atmosphere, no issues with remote working, amazing surroundings and nature for hiking and decoupling from work + an awesome and truly caring host Figo. I spent about three weeks in the beautiful co-working/co-living villa from the end of October to mid-November 2023. There are many (sleeping) spaces equipped for working, either in your own room or on the balcony, terrace, in the living room, etc. What could be better than "working" under bright sunshine, blue skies, and with great people? If you want, you can also retreat to your own space, true to Figo's motto: "Anything goes - nothing is mandatory." 😊 At the villa, you meet like-minded people who also want to experience Madeira in all its facets: the nature, the nightlife, and the people. We often cooked together, went hiking and/or swimming, took some fantastic excursions together, and of course, didn't miss out on a party or two. Figo is a superb host! He's always helpful (even at short notice) and a wonderful person. 🙌🏼 I highly recommend this experience; go out, be brave, and let this beautiful island and its surroundings work their magic on you 🤩

Probably one of the best places I've ever stayed - the host Figo has found some stunning off-the-beaten-track hikes that tourists don't know about, and I witnessed some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever scene in pure tranquility far far away from busy tourist groups - I was even able to meditate on one of the hikes near a hidden waterfall, it was truly that peaceful - and the villa is an amazing place to work and relax! I can only echo the other reviews – Homeoffice Madeira is the ideal place to escape the stresses of everyday life. The villa is very spacious, with plenty of workspaces available both inside and outside the house. Monitors are provided, so there are no limitations when working. The beautiful garden is the perfect place to exercise or simply relax during your lunch break or after work. Group activities like hiking, poncha workshops, and bouldering are offered – but of course, participation is entirely optional. I've already booked another two weeks for next year and I'm already looking forward to working from home again <3

Wow, my expectations were more than exceeded! I couldn't have imagined a better place for my first workation than Homeoffice Madeira. The house and garden are super nice, totally clean and well maintained. There are plenty of places to work, whether in your own room, in the garden or the balcony with sea view. (starting the working day there with a sunrise was one of the highlights) However, the biggest highlight was the great people I met there and the moments we shared together. The many great hikes, the legendary Poncha nights, the trips to Porto Santo, the dinners at the house or just sitting together in the evenings in the cozy living room and chatting. I miss everyone already and hope that we will see each other again in the Homeoffice. Also special thanks to Figo for being the best host. Everything was always super organized, he helped us with questions in seconds and showed us the most beautiful places on the island. The day after I got home I booked the next stay right away and I can't wait to come back at the end of the year to make even more unforgettable memories!

It was my first co-living and co-working experience and it was absolutely delightful. I spent there two weeks in October 2023 and now I wish I had stayed longer. All the communication from booking to being at the house until leaving and even after leaving had a very personal and friendly touch. Though it's a bit away from towns, it is generally very quiet and it creates a nice relaxed atmosphere for work. When in need of inspiration, he effortlessly curates activities and hikes tailored to the group’s vibe, ensuring each day is an adventure. You can have nice relaxed evening walks with breathtaking views, crazy hikes, great dinners in secret local places and wild Poncha bar tours. I'm grateful for this opportunity to stay at Homeoffice Madeira. Also, I feel lucky to have had such a fantastic group of people there with me. The hosts I met were so kind and helpful, and also very knowledgable about the island and the best spots to visit for hikes, swims and more (aside from the touristy areas). The house is comfortable and set up well for both a productive work week and fun breaks/weekends! We enjoyed lunch break dips in the pool, bbqs & fresh pizza and local hikes through the eucalyptus forest. The community feeling is fantastic, I was nervous about going to a coliving for the first time but immediately felt welcomed. I have met such interesting and fun people who now feel like old friends. It was my first time visiting Madeira and while it’s already my number one coolest places I’ve ever visited, I still think that I couldn’t have experienced this island the same way without the group of Homeoffice Madeira. I recently had the incredible opportunity to experience Home Office Madeira, a remarkable coliving and coworking space nestled in the breathtaking island of Madeira. One of the highlights of my experience was the opportunity to explore the awe-inspiring surroundings of Madeira. After a productive day of work, we would organize a hike together, cook, drink a bier by the seaside or just sit around the fireplace with a poncha. The island's lush green landscapes, towering cliffs, and cascading waterfalls left me speechless. The after-work hikes were not only a great way to unwind and connect with nature but also served as an excellent opportunity to bond with other like-minded professionals in the coliving community. The sunrise hike in Pico do Arieiro was an unforgettable experience for me. Figo, the warm and caring owner of this extraordinary space, immediately made me feel welcome. Figo possesses an innate ability to create a sense of community apart the very comfortable villa to work remotely. He is very enthusiastic and dedicated to ensure the comfort and happiness of his guests. Moreover, I will miss Lotus as well, the lovely doggy. Once time allows, I would love to go back to the villa for at least 3 weeks so that I can hike and explore a bit more the island.

Madeira, my cherished second home for almost three months, is a piece of heaven that I discovered during an online research. In my search, I came across Homeoffice Madeira – a colossal property designed for co-working and co-living (a priority here, I must stress). The house is impressively spacious and can comfortably accommodate anyone wishing to explore the unique concept of Workation whilst enjoying the beauty of Madeira. I hear an oft-repeated adage, "People matter," and if that resonates with you, you'll no doubt appreciate the vibe here. It was Figo who really embodied that feeling. He has created an atmosphere where the community lives together and creates unforgettable memories. Here the emphasis is on "WE" - written in capital letters and lived with passion. Every day was a new experience, but there is one universal certainty: I loved every single one of them <3 Unfortunately, Google's rating system limits me to just five stars, but this place far exceeds those limitations, earning a whopping 10 out of 10. I wouldn't hesitate to visit this paradise again. Finally a big thank you Figo for giving me such a phenomenal time. I've spent few weeks there and it was AMAZING! The place and atmosphere that Figo and others have created is incredible :) You definitely feel just at like home there, or even better. I already know when I will be back. You just can't get enough of this experience. The house itself is large and provides more than enough space for everyone to get their work done and find some space for yourself if needed. I love the idea of cooking and spending time together. Best experience I had in years. Everything is very well organised, rooms are clean. There is a real group feeling in the house which adds something extra compared to other home offices. Many activities are organised and you can make your own proposals. Time flies here, I met a lot of new interesting people and it is the perfect location to explore the complete island.

My first real coliving experience, and they set the bar pretty high! Nice people, a few simple rules (e.g., groceries and rental cars are shared), plus hikes, beach trips, or road trips almost every day after work and on weekends. Thanks to Figo and everyone who was there – I won't forget this time anytime soon!

This Place is amazing! If you think about trying workaction or want to live in a co working I do highly recommend! It is really easy going, the host is amazing and you definitely meet amazing people. Great hikes, bonfires, Portuguese dinner party’s - there you can have it all! Definitely will come back.

A home away from home :) Home Office Madeira is truly the best-equipped co-living space I've ever stayed in. Every room has a desk and a monitor, so you can make calls in peace. The house has a large garden, so even with 10 people, you can find peace and quiet. Something to keep in mind: Madeira is a car-centric island; there's not much within walking distance. But there's always someone who can drive, and there are usually two cars available :)

I've just returned from three fantastic weeks working from home in Madeira. The villa is top-notch, and you immediately feel at home. Besides my host, Figo, I was lucky enough to meet wonderful people from all over the world and enjoy activities together after work, while also brushing up on my rusty English. It was a wonderful time that I will cherish. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who is still undecided; I'm sure they won't regret it. My expectations were certainly exceeded. In addition to the great hikes and insider tips that you won't find in any guidebook as a first-time visitor to Madeira, I especially enjoyed the company of like-minded people. I hope to be a guest again soon.

This was my first experience coliving and coworking and it set the bar very high! The house is large and provides more than enough space for everyone to get their work done, but it’s also set up in a way to fosters community. It was so lovely to cook, eat, hike, and explore with a group of like minded individuals. Even though we all started as strangers, the vibe is very chill as if we’ve all known each other much longer. Madeira is an island best explored in a group & especially with someone who knows the island well — Figo had the best hiking recommendations for and there was so much variety day over day. I hope to be back soon!

Everything is in place for a shared experience! Thanks to the clear structure of the house, mindful coexistence is possible, leading to delicious communal dinners, wonderful excursions, and enriching exchanges of ideas. Madeira is a stunning island if you are into nature/hikes etc and homeoffice madeira felt like working in paradise. How to Start? First of all thanks to Figo, who is beside of Lotus 🐶 the heart and soul of HomeOffice Madeira. I had wonderful 4 weeks and really enjoyed it being part of the community. The working conditions are great, like fast internet, good connection in the house and garden, various working spaces. The community was the reason that 4 weeks felt like 1 but on the other side looking back on all those activities while working full time it feels like 4 months. We were hiking, whale watching, drinking poncha, going for awesome dinners, planned the inside of Figo’s palheiro, celebrating Halloween with Pumpkins 🎃 and Scream 😱, went around the islands, made Pizza and cooked together, laughed a lot, but always had the chance to step back and take a break. I will come back for sure.

Definitely the best possible co-working experience. It seems that this house attracts only positive, happy and generally nice people. All the people that I met at this place were very friendly and alway been a nice company. Because of that it was very pleasant to make plans for time spent together after busy mornings. Let it be an afternoon hike, sunset watching or dinner with a poncha on the top, each day was something special. Working conditions in the house are very good. A lot of place to find a quiet time for a meeting, enough sharable equipment and the internet speed is really good. I enjoyed being in a meeting while sitting on the porch and enjoying the sunshine. I cannot thank enough to the best host, Figo. Really warm and funny person. Always helpful and does not spare his advice for the after-work hikes. Really enjoyed the hikes he took us to. I really appreciate all his help and tips. All the credits goes to him also for the whole organisation in the house. The system works really seamlessly. Sharing groceries work really nice, cars are always available, all you need is at hand. Would definitely reccomend and will definitely return 🙂 There is one Con to all of this: Poncha bar is really close to the house, which may cause a hard time in the morning, so be careful 😄🍹

This place (HomeOffice and Madeira Island) did what no pill could do for me; it brought me so much inner peace and healing. I initially came here for 3 weeks and ended up staying 2 months. They were some of the best months of my life. Waking up in the clouds, surrounded by amazing nature, beaches, and fresh air... every day felt surreal. And then you have the people you meet here. First, there's Figo - the man behind this whole concept, who discovered all of Madeira's best spots... he never fails to impress me by his business acumen and resilient nature. But, most importantly, Figo is the first welcoming face you meet when you get there. He instantly makes you feel at home, and I've seen, firsthand, how much thought he puts into everyone's comfort and safety. He is quickly responsive and always open to suggestions. Then, there are all the other guests you will meet there who, for the most part, are super sociable, open-minded, responsible and with amazing life stories. Not only did we laugh, eat, cook, hike, and dance together,  but we also had enriching conversations. I instantly bonded with so many like-minded individuals. I was inspired by them and learned from them. Overall, this has been such an exciting adventure and transformational experience. I left Madeira a new person.

I was in Homeoffice Madeira 2 weeks and loved the place and experience! You share a house, this is not like a big coliving with many people, there is max 10 people, staying long time, it is more like a flatsharing and there is activites organized almost every day, hiking, visiting places, ... The home and big garden are very restful, with lot of spots to work during the day. If you like to share a place and have activites with other people in the same mindset, I strongly recommend this place!

I had three fantastic weeks working from home in Madeira. Figo gave us lots of insider tips for great hiking trails and beaches. He often joined us himself. The internet is excellent, and everything else, like the rental car and cost sharing, was also perfectly organized. I'll definitely be back next year.

Being at the House feels really like home. Well organized space for both work and after-work leisure/cooking. Figo was always helpful and is very passionate about his Homeoffice hobby (if i may call it like that : ) Good balance between having your own space/time and doing activities together. You can always join the group to do some after-work activity, but it's not mandatory if you want to have some "me" time. Be prepared to be mesmerized by the beauty of the island, by the warm hosting at the house and by the different climate zones (can be from +15 to +35 degrees in June). You'll explore the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises at 1800m, hidden hiking paths, waterfalls, beaches and picnic spots. I've spent at the Homeoffice 2 weeks and would definitely consider coming back soon! (Flights tip - there's a direct low cost Ryanair Flight from Nuremberg).

The home office is a truly fantastic place to combine work with community living. The house offers everything you need for living and working, and much more. The host, Figo, is always available, and you can tell that his guests' well-being is genuinely important to him. Furthermore, he has an excellent knowledge of the island and is often happy to take you on an unforgettable excursion. If you're looking for a sense of community and want to combine it with work, you can have a wonderful time at the home office. I had two very enjoyable weeks!

At HomeOffice Madeira you will get something that no hotel/hostel/tour guide or TripAdviser would ever be able to offer you.❤️ You will hike the routes and swim in the waterfalls that only locals know about. You will eat in places and have picnics at the spots that you can’t find in Google Maps. You will connect to people, find friends, cook dinners together, share emotions, have “deep talks”, laugh and cry (couldn’t resist after seeing the most beautiful sunset and dolphins jumping out of the water 😊) But to enjoy it fully… You need to love the nature. You need to be flexible with the changing weather conditions and open to new things. If you are uncomplicated and easy going, then it’s a perfect place for you! Here I lived the life fully. I can’t believe it’s been just 2 working weeks, it feels much more than that. Figo, you are an amazing host! 🌟 You made a place where everyone wants to come back. Your desire to make everyone feel great and the love to the island make this place special. Big thank you for that! P.S. a tip from me, please take more warm clothes, the weather is completely unpredictable

So last month (May 2022) I spent most of my life having a whale of a time on Workation in Madeira. Among whale watching, levada hiking, the odd beach day, chilling at the villa day, I did actually get some work done in the three weeks of the trip. In fact, more productively as well. I’d thoroughly recommend the experience with the team at Homeoffice Madeira. Time to get back to work now, no question I’ll be back at the villa at some point in my lifetime!

If you're still hesitating about whether to visit Kiki and Figo in Madeira – definitely do it. They create a wonderful atmosphere in the villa, and you truly feel like you're among friends from the very first minute.

Olá amigos, we had an exceptionally unforgetable time in Madeira and this is mainly due to this beautiful villa, the caring and lovely hosts Kiki & Figo and the stunningly beautiful nature in the area around. Me and my wife booked for 4 weeks between May and June and it exceeded all our expectations. The house feels like a home, could be the massive garden? Could be the ping-pong table or the football table or could be Lotus 🐶? We loved it so much so that we decided to extend our stay one more week after only 1 week after our arrival. Worrying about working remotely? The house is equipped with multiples desks, a dedicated office space, monitors and a high speed internet. Worrying about meeting other people and share spaces? Figo e Kiki (the hosts) will create a wonderful family environment where everyone get a say in what to do and where to go. Worrying about cleaning or general tidiness of the house? Claudia (the owner) will do a spotless job cleaning every Saturday and Figo and Kiki will make sure that everyone does their part during the week. We 100% recommend this place and this experience.

I can only echo the other comments. It was incredible, and anyone who's having doubts should definitely seize this opportunity. Many thanks again to Figo for the perfect organization and for everything you've built!

What can we say? We booked three weeks, expected nothing, and got so much more than we ever imagined. It's impossible not to feel right at home in this beautiful villa. We had already spent three weeks in Funchal beforehand and got to know the island in a whole new way thanks to Kiki and Figo. Whether it was the hikes, the boat trip, dancing in the local poncha bar, or sightseeing on the north coast, it was all fantastic. I had a wonderful time in this house in Madeira. The house is spacious and very warmly furnished, with plenty of room to work and relax. Figo is very friendly and knows the island extremely well. Highly recommended!

I spent two weeks working remotely from Madeira, and I highly recommend it to anyone who can work remotely. The accommodation is very spacious and beautiful. The garden is huge and beautifully landscaped. Because the house is thoroughly cleaned once a week, everything is spotless. There are plenty of workspaces, both indoors and outdoors, as well as ample quiet spaces. The house is located in a more rural area, but there are plenty of cars available, so you can easily get around. Every day after work, we did something, whether it was whale watching, beautiful hikes, or visiting a restaurant or bar. We got along incredibly well as a group. It's truly invaluable that Figo also lives in the house; he was always happy to show us new hiking trails or even organize group activities (and all of this was done voluntarily, so thank you again!). It was a wonderful time. I can wholeheartedly recommend working remotely from Madeira to everyone. I didn't want to leave! :) Until next time!

I am delighted that I chose this place to stay for my remote work. I surely wish I had booked for more time. It totally exceeded my expectations. The villa is very clean, well-organized and big. There is a lot of space for everyone to have his / her corner to calmly work. Fantastic hikes are not far from the villa, 15 min drive to breathtaking sunrise / sunset spot. The villa is extremely well equipped with every entertaining gadget needed. On top of all, Fabi (Figgo) who is the host of this villa, is an incredible and kind person who put a lot of effort (alottt) to make sure everyone are having a good time, he spends his free time with the group, organizes events and drives the experience to a very positive direction. I visited Madeira for the first time and stayed in this villa for 2 weeks. I expected that I would easily sustain my working schedule, but in reality the picture outside the window was so idyllic, that sometimes I finished work earlier and went exploring the island with others. It's a perfect place if you love to go hiking, or more relaxed walking, or just having drinks in nearest villages. There are a plenty of top spots in less than 30 minutes ride from villa, which makes them a perfect place for spending afterwork time together with other guests. Don't miss the sunrise or sunset at Pico do Arieiro, it's just magical! Figo, Kiki and team does a great job by keeping the house in good shape and managing everyone guest needs. Atmosphere in the house was very friendly and I felt like I knew these people before! Everyone contributed in creation of amazing friendly vibe. I really enjoyed our hikes, shared dinners and meeting new people. House is well equipped for a comfortable work either from a room, terrace, or outside. I already want to come back soon and experience this again!

I read in a previous review that the villa felt like home, and I can absolutely confirm it. The atmosphere in the villa makes you feel right at home from the very first minute. I am so thankful that I could stay in this great homeoffice villa for a while. The villa is fantastic, the surrounding is great, the hikes where awesome but most of all: the villa community with changing guest is the best! You get in touch with interesting people, have good talks and spend time together enjoying shared meals, doing after-work hikes, playing games or just hang around together. To everybody who is sick of "homeoffice blues" and fed of German winter -> come to Homeoffice Madeira. I can highly recommend it and will come back as soon it is possible! :-)

A feel-good factor and everything you could want!! It was a wonderful experience combining work with leisure. For anyone who has the option to work online, Homeoffice Madeira is the perfect place. You almost feel at home :-) except there are a few more palm trees ;-). With Figo & Kiki, who lovingly welcome and look after the house and their guests, nothing stands in the way of making everyday life on this wonderful island enjoyable. The guests are so well taken care of: planned tours (incredibly beautiful routes through "Wonderland"), two cars available for guest use, cooking together, eating out, and not forgetting the incredibly cute Poncha Bar ;-). The games room with a round of darts and foosball (hehe) also made for some incredibly fun evenings. The villa is very big, clean and has more than enough place to work: from your desk, working space or from the garden. But, most importantly there was a great atmosphere where there was always something to do after work: hiking in many beautiful routes, enjoying some drinks in nearby villages and many more. All the people were very friendly which made co-living experience even greater. Hope, I can visit again.

I stayed @homeofficemadeira for a week. I definitely will be back! The beauty of the place is unequalled. I'm a sunset lover so, yeah! I would totally recommend this place for people who want to mix work, travel, hiking and meeting new people. If you like good food and fruits, even the better for you. I have to commend the owners for being so thoughtful. The place is super clean, the game room is so fun, and evenings are cozy sitting by the fire, playing guitar and singing along. What a dream!

I would give 10 stars to HO-Madeira.The most important thing is of course the stable and fast internet connection (500 MBit Fibre). I never had any troubles with Videochats and Screensharing in HD. The villa offers enough space if one needs solitude, otherwise you can enjoy co-working with the other guests. It is a "everything goes - nothing must" environment, meaning: it's up to you if you want to join group hikes with your co-workers on the weekend or if you want to explore the island by yourself (or just chill on the couch). I personally enjoyed the joint dinners where everyone gets to cook for the group. I also love the garden and its guardian (Lotus). I stayed in a single room with large bed and access to the balcony where I worked in the morning (see pic). I stayed for 3 weeks and I will definitely come back for another workation. Highly recommended!

My trip to the Coworking Villa in Madeira was truly amazing and I can highly recommend it! The villa had everything you could ask for, big kitchen, nice living area, good rooms with desks, game room, coworking space with monitors and a nice terrace and garden to work outside in the sun, etc. I felt really lucky to have so many great people there too to connect with and do stuff together - the atmosphere was super supportive and fun :) Our trips were mostly flexible, sometimes we decided a day before where we want to go the next day. I love hiking, so Madeira was the perfect spot. Unfortunately, I could only stay a week this time, however, I would love to come back for a bit more time to get this coworking experience again and to explore the island further :) Thanks again to Figo for being such a good organizer and motivator! I would love to meet Kiki next time as well ;)

The Homeoffice was the perfect start of a 2-month stay on Madeira for me. I stayed for two weeks and it's so nice that you're immediately with a group of people that you can do activities (lots of hikes!) with, share meals and have cars available for trips. Figo & Kiki are fantastic hosts and know the island incredibly well, ensuring there's something for everyone. From relaxed to challenging hikes, surfing, culinary highlights, and boat trips, they know the perfect activities for every mood and interest. Having cars at the house also allows for great flexibility, making it easy to see as much of the island as possible. They've created a wonderful home with everything you need for productive work (i.e., a workspace with office equipment, good internet, a workspace in every room, outdoor workspaces, etc.), while also fostering a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. You arrive at a ready-made home and can have an amazing time without any hassle! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, met some wonderful people, and would love to come back!

I stayed at Homeoffice for 1 week (too short!!) and I loved it! Kiki and Figo make sure you have a good time, the house is amazing and the whole vibe is really pleasant. Also, we did the best hike EVER together, so thank you again for that! As non-German I totally recommend staying at Homeoffice. You will absolutely love it :-)

My stay at the Madeira home office far exceeded my expectations. I felt right at home. The accommodation is beautifully furnished, clean, and lacked nothing. Working was also very easy thanks to the excellent facilities (e.g., very good Wi-Fi, plenty of power outlets, and monitors). After work or on weekends, there were group activities that I was welcome to join, as there are some truly fantastic spots and locations to visit. I highly recommend a stay with Kiki & Figo! It certainly won't be my last.

I had a chance to spent really amazing and great time at the Homeoffice Madeira house. The villa is amazing, located in very beautiful place, equipped with everything what you need and even more. The community there is really nice and I met great people. Figo and Kiki are doing an amazing job and you really feel like you are living/working with your friends and you know them for a very long time. All activities that we took were discussed and it was up to me, if I want to join or not. Everything really nice organized and I cant wait to be back next year.

I've stayed in several co-living spaces this year, but only with Figo and Kiki did I feel truly at home from the very first second. And I came back again after just a few weeks! They create a real community, and besides tons of fun and outings, you have everything you need to work! Thank you!!

A truly fantastic place to stay. Figo and Kiki show you the most beautiful locations, hikes, and other activities like whale watching, speedboat rides, surfing, etc. The workspace is excellent, the Wi-Fi is very good, and they also have monitors, power adapters, etc., available to borrow. The rooms are lovely, and the villa is situated very close to nature; levadas and other irrigation channels are nearby. I would gladly return.

Awesome place to stay on Madeira for co-working and co-living. It's a villa where you'll stay with 6 to 10 like-minded people. The organisers Kiki and Figo put a lot of effort into making everybody feel at home and organizing hiking trips and trips to the local Poncha bar. Several hiking destinations like Pico Ariero are within reach.

Without exaggeration: My stay with Kiki & Figo was fantastic and did me a world of good. The villa, the island, my housemates, the activities, and the home office setup all combined to create an amazing experience. The only downside was that the time flew by. If you're looking for adventure and fun and want to escape the German weather, I wholeheartedly recommend a trip to visit them. Obrigado Kiki & Figo!!!

A huge garden, peace and quiet yet still adventure, togetherness and solitude, nature and city life... I have all this and more for the next few weeks. A unique blend of community and relaxed opportunities to work and explore what is probably the most beautiful island in Europe. Homeoffice Madeira is highly recommended for anyone looking for a change of pace from their home office routine through coworking, a fantastic community, and all in a breathtaking setting. I initially booked for three weeks, which turned into a total of eight weeks with a break (for work reasons). Figo (Fabian) and Kiki are much more than "just" hosts behind the scenes. They skillfully slip into different roles: from tour guides on weekend or after-work excursions to organizational whizzes, ensuring that daily work is as pleasant and relaxed as possible – they have everything you need. A little warning to all Germans: The fiber optic internet installed in the house and garden of Homeoffice Madeira will make your return to Germany twice as difficult. 😉

Looking for a way to temporarily relocate my "home office" to a more pleasant setting, I thankfully stumbled upon the villa and Figo&Kiki and spent four weeks there in May/June 2021. First and foremost, the most important thing about a home office: it's a fantastic place to work! The internet was significantly faster and more stable than a cable connection in downtown Frankfurt, there are desks in every room, and you can work in the living room, as well as spend your lunch break with your temporary housemates or even in the garden. And after work (or even before, if you want to experience the sunrise from one of Madeira's mountains), you can explore the island in a relaxed atmosphere: hikes, boat trips, or simply a visit to a café on the coast. I had a really great time and met some wonderful people. Definitely recommended!

I don't even know where to begin... first of all, thank you so much for this incredible time! Vacationing with "strangers" was a completely new experience for me, which is why I didn't have high expectations going into the trip. But what I experienced over the last two weeks exceeded even my highest expectations! From day one, I felt completely at ease. The atmosphere in the group was unique (there's no sense of being "stranger" here), the villa is superbly equipped, and Kiki and Figo's relaxed, fun, and warm personalities rounded everything off perfectly, making it an unforgettable experience! On top of that, the island's diversity seems limitless. Thanks to their tips and even guided tours, I've already discovered some incredible places! Originally, one week was planned, but I practically had no choice but to extend my stay for another week. Despite the spontaneity, Figo was able to find a solution for me. Thanks again! For almost exactly a week, the Home Office Villa Madeira was my accommodation for a spontaneous and incredibly eventful week. The house really has everything you could possibly need! From a washing machine to a smart TV and printer – from a chili corner to a Kneipp pool and a ping-pong table. It's truly the perfect place to meet new people, socialize, but still have the option to have some privacy. We as a group really benefited from this during our hiking week! Whether playing the legendary game of Werewolf or cooking risotto – the house and especially its "landlords" made my time in Madeira perfect :) I can wholeheartedly recommend the villa and the concept behind it. Positive reviews shouldn't come without criticism... what wasn't so great about the house was the dampness in the rooms. In the mornings, the windows were often damp inside, and towels etc. didn't always dry completely... BUT this seems to be a common problem on Madeira due to the climate in the higher regions. The owners, however, know how to counteract this, and with a dryer and regular airing, it wasn't a problem at all. :) Therefore, still 5 out of 5 stars! :D

I had a fantastic time with some truly fascinating people. The villa is beautiful and offers plenty of peace and quiet, as well as excellent workspaces for focused work. The stay was very relaxing, and many great trips were organized after work. Working together was incredibly motivating! I'd love to come back again!

I had an amazing time at the coworking villa with Kiki, Figo, and the others. If I could, I'd immediately set up my home office in this villa with its beautiful, large garden and stunning view. In short, it was an indescribable, unforgettable, impressive, and wonderful vacation. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The villa offers everything you could wish for to work: ultra-fast internet, a dedicated desk in every room, numerous outdoor workspaces, and even a printer and additional monitors. Nothing stands in the way of efficient and focused work. But what truly makes working from home so special are the people you get to spend this unique time with, people who become dear to you – friendships are forged here. Numerous hikes and walks, sunrises and sunsets, boat trips with dolphins, cozy evenings by the fire, beautiful mornings with the garden dog Lotus, and entertaining evenings at the local Poncha Bar are just a few of the reasons why I've flown to Madeira three times (and this won't be the last). Feels like Home(Office)!

I spent three weeks working remotely from Madeira with my best friend. It was an absolutely fantastic time! I'm a distance learning student and was able to study and attend lectures perfectly. We shared a room, but there were still plenty of workspaces and quiet spaces. Madeira has so much to offer. From jungle tours to waterfalls, mountains, cliffs, a fairy forest, or a Caribbean feel on the neighboring island of Porto Santo. A huge thank you to Kiki and Figo for this opportunity! They organized lots of activities and hikes that we could simply join. We met wonderful people and had an amazing time as a group! Highlights for me included the boat trips, parties, sunrises and sunsets, many hikes, happy moments, and the island's natural beauty. I had a wonderful time in Madeira 💕 The two weeks of working from home in the villa went by far too quickly, and I would certainly have stayed longer if I hadn't had appointments waiting for me back home! The house has everything you need for comfortable working... large common areas, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a wonderful garden – if you're looking for company – as well as plenty of quiet spaces for those who need some peace and quiet. Electricity and Wi-Fi are available everywhere, so you can get comfortable with your laptop on the balcony, the stairs, or the sofa. There are even monitors available, and a cuddle with the resident dog, Lotus 🐕, helps relieve stressful phone calls. In the evenings, everyone is free to suggest activities or join in. From a jog to a sunset picnic to a visit to the Poncha Bar around the corner, anything is possible. Even in bad weather, with Fabian and Kiki's help we always found something to do and were able to make the most of our time on the island... Definitely one of the best trips I've ever taken and a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to spend their home office time with relaxed people!

Two unforgettable weeks We spent two weeks working from home with Figo and Kiki. It was incredibly wonderful. The atmosphere and the house itself were fantastic, but above all, everything else was wonderful. The two hosts gave us tips for activities and were incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly; we spent a lot of time with the other guests, hiking, surfing, eating out, or simply relaxing in the huge garden or game room. Partying together or visiting the poncha bar around the corner was also encouraged. Everything was optional. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Madeira and am so happy to have met Kiki, Figo, and the other guests.

What makes coworking at the villa so special for us as guests? The idyllic location? The modern house? The excellent internet? The interesting people from all over with their diverse work needs? Well, I think the experience would only be half as great if Figo and Kiki weren't doing such an outstanding job! You don't even have to think about what to do in your free time. You simply join them on secret tours they've discovered off the beaten track over the past few months. The strong sense of community and the harmonious atmosphere are largely thanks to the friendly and passionate hosts, Figo and Kiki!

Unfortunately, after 4 unforgettable weeks I am now on my way home and I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Home Office Villa to everyone!!

A week at Figo & Kiki's home office villa was far too short but absolutely wonderful! The perfect place to escape the lockdown in Germany. Under the motto "Anything goes, nothing is mandatory," you experience a super relaxing time in a fantastic atmosphere. The villa is beautifully situated, everything you need is provided, Figo & Kiki are incredibly helpful, organized, and know the island extremely well. On weekends and after work, you can go on hikes and other activities together. Madeira has so much to offer in terms of scenery and is a welcome change from the daily grind. Originally booked for four weeks, I ended up staying for more than four months. The villa is absolutely fantastic and has been continuously expanded, always taking my suggestions into account. Over time, in addition to a ping-pong table and an air hockey table, a foosball table, darts, a snooker table, and a trampoline were added. Furthermore, a small bar was built in the "Games" room, there's a gym, a fireplace, a chocolate fountain, outdoor games like Viking chess, a barbecue hut, a fire pit, a huge (!), beautiful garden, and a mini-pool is currently being built. The villa lacks absolutely nothing. Fast fiber optic internet for working. A 75-inch TV for movie nights together. Figo and Kiki have created a little paradise here, with a strong focus on community. The people were incredibly relaxed, and we went on many hikes together. I can wholeheartedly recommend working from home in Madeira and will definitely be back soon.

What more can I say? The four weeks I originally planned to stay turned into nine. If you like relaxed people, mountains, sea, and sunshine, this is the perfect place – a dream! 🥰

The 'home office' in Madeira with Kiki and Figo is truly a dream come true. For the first few days, I was completely awestruck by the island's stunning landscape and vegetation: everything is lush, the flowers are in bloom, and the Atlantic Ocean shimmers in a deep blue. Within just a few kilometers, we went from steep cliffs to jungle, through laurel forests to banana plantations, from the mountains to the coast, and with our feet in the sea. With tense abdominal muscles, I watched it all, and my life, flash by in the passenger seat (the Fiat Panda is practically a Q5 compared to the width of Madeiran roads, there are no sidewalks, and reaching third gear is—let's just say—a rarity). But Kiki manages to quickly dispel any tension with her snow-white grin and by constantly refilling our glasses. I thoroughly enjoyed living in the villa: the rooms are spacious, the garden is full of palm trees, the dog Lotus des Todes is adorable, and the Wi-Fi is better than at home. Furthermore, Figo manages to organize the trip perfectly for everyone in the group. Communication before arrival is quick, airport transfers are provided, and we can choose whether to work quietly from home or join in the hiking, depending on our available time. At the very latest, Kiki and Figo plan wonderful hikes, visits to poncha bars, or boat trips for the whole group, especially on the weekend. It was fantastic to meet such cool people during these rather dreary times—people I would never have met outside my bubble without working from home in Madeira—and to be sitting at my laptop where others are vacationing. I had a blast! xx

If you're feeling cooped up at home, Fabian has the solution. Sitting alone at home working from home, or would you prefer the atmosphere of a shared apartment on the paradise island of Madeira? Almost constant 20 degrees Celsius, sunshine, lush greenery, mountains, good vibes, and great company await. Whether you stay for a week or a whole month, it doesn't matter. I was there in March and especially appreciated the hospitality of Fabian (Figo) and Kiki. Work during the day, and evenings and weekends are spent together. And if someone happens to have a day off during the week, there's almost always someone to join me for excursions. Madeira was one of my best trips, even from working from home. My first contact was by calling him directly. Any questions are easily answered that way. Highly recommended! 🤘
