I spent three weeks at Homeoffice Madeira in March for a workation, and I will definitely be back! The house is situated in a quiet mountain location with a breathtaking sea view, especially in the mornings from the balcony when the sun rises – simply magical. It's the perfect place to work and relax. For working from home, there are various workspaces available: a private desk with a large monitor in the room, a coworking space, or a sunny spot in the spacious garden. Despite the peaceful location, you're not far from Funchal or other larger towns. The amenities leave nothing to be desired: several bathrooms, a large communal kitchen, a pizza oven, and many thoughtful touches instantly make the house feel like a home away from home. And the biggest highlight was undoubtedly Lotus, probably the friendliest and most relaxed dog in all of Madeira. Two cars are available for shared use. This is ideal for quickly setting off on one of the many fantastic hikes after work. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was our host, Figo. He puts his heart and soul into ensuring everyone feels welcome. His organization is top-notch, and his guided hikes along hidden trails, far from the tourist crowds, are a real highlight. Figo knows the island like no other and always knows where the sun is shining or what to do even when it rains. I wholeheartedly recommend Homeoffice Madeira to anyone who wants to combine work and relaxation in a truly special atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!
