The customer service at Selina Agafay is absolutely horrible. I had pre-booked and PAID for 3 nights in a standard glamping tent. On the morning of my third night, I was told I couldn’t stay as the camp had overbooked. NO ONE told me this at check in, instead, they let me pay $200 for that night. They offered to find me another camp to stay at (why would I do that when I had booked to stay at this one) or to stay in the dorm rooms ($25…and I booked a private room for a reason). I was travelling as a solo female and was basically left to figure out finding another place to stay at 1pm for that night. I was told by the events manager AND finance that I would receive my refund in 5 to 7 business days. That was on October 19th 2022. It’s now been two weeks and I have received nothing. They have also ignored majority of my emails and only answered after I threatened to have my bank reimburse the entire purchase as fraud. This place is an absolute joke and I WOULD NOT waste your money unless you want to pay for a stay and not actually be able to stay there.
