It's a neat place. Clean rooms and in general. Decent location with restaurants within walking distance (1.5km), shops down the road, and a barber too if you need a haircut. It's got a nice vibe with the white building with blue doors and shutters, characteristic to Tunisia. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Only problems for me would be that the pillow I had was small and not very comfortable, nor was the bed which seems to be of the old spring variety, sinking in too much when you lay on it. Also the toilet is right beside the shower which seems to be a common thing in the cheaper hotels and most hostels as I've come to find out during my travels in Africa. Makes for a messy exit from the shower especially when there's no bathroom mat. Water is hot though, no complaints there. I also paid almost double the price when using booking.com to book this place. Found out it was TND 50 if I came here directly, but because I used booking.com I ended up paying TND 90 (rip off, really. Which hostel except for those in Europe charge this much?) At TND 50 it's reasonable but still a little overpriced. Decent though, considering other options in the area. Would recommend.
