Incroyable endroit avec une vue magnifique sur la baie, on est super bien accueilli, les chambres sont bien propres et les ventilateurs suffisent très bien pour passer une bonne nuit après le surf. Emplacement top proche de yo-yo’s, tropical et autres spots. Très calme et le dîner inclu est absolument délicieux! Foncez sans hésiter !

Es un alojamiento espectacular y a la vez un precioso proyecto de una pareja de surfistas Australianos. Las vistas desde todas las estancias de la casa son impresionantes. La ola de Supersuck se ve perfectamente. Cocina amplia y totalmente equipada. Zonas comunes agradables y cómodas, que invitan a relajarse y entablar conversación con otros viajeros. La cena, incluída en el precio, es variada y abundante. Se cena en la zona común junto con los demás y se crea un ambiente familiar y cercano, una gran idea! Los anfitriones Georgia y Joey, junto con el personal del servicio, hacen que la estancia sea muy agradable, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte con una sonrisa. One of the nicest places we've stayed in indo. Awesome food, scenery, the local village Maluk has some amazing local food, friendly staff, beds were super comfy and rooms were clean and newly built. Definitely have to stay here if your heading to west sumbawa

Beautiful location and lovely team! Rudy and Ana are so nice and helpful. He is a great host and she cooks yummy :) they have the best scooters from the area! Unfortunately no AC and no Pool, with makes the hangout at time a bit tough due to the heat and humidity. Scenery is stunning. Good value for money. Recommended :)

Merdeka house has been a joy to stay at. Incredible location with stunning views of a world class surf break. Everyone that stays here is super friendly and easy to get along with. There is a communal kitchen and lounge room overlooking the ocean which is great for hanging out and talking about your day with friends. There is a pool table and a half pipe for skating if the surf isn't exactly great that day. The included dinner is all time indonesian cuisine with vegetables and fresh fish. Not to mention the beer is always icey cold! Great value for money, I've stayed for over a month and will definitely be back.

I stayed there with my son. Great place for family getaway too. Kid loved the pool table, darts, after-dinner movie on projector and board games (oh and playstation while dad surfed). Epic dinner meal included (one of the best wood fired pizza I've had), and great local dishes which were a feast. Owners are great, and very affordable , comfortable place.

Merdeka house is a gem. The rooms are clean, bintangs are cold and the people are always good fun. This place is the perfect mix of local culture and western comfort. Dirt cheap epic indonesian food in town, pool table and yoga classes at home and so many sick waves around. Great place for couples especially surfer/non surfer couples

Me and my friend Mark went to Sumbawa for a surf trip and our first stop was Merdeka house. For a bit it took us a while to find it but than the house on top of the steep road - wow - such a view. ||All over was just great, super nice and friendly hosts with lots of local tips and experiences, they showed us where to surf, gave us useful tips where to eat and showed us around.||Just great experience. ||Will be back one day for sure.

Initially I booked for three nights stay and ended up extending my stay to one week! This place is just exceptionally perfect for my liking - who doesn't surf in a surf area. They got a wide range of amazing books on their library and a breath-taking view on the common area to read the book and drink some tea. The host was away, but there's Spike who maintain the area. He was nice and also helpful. I have no other words because this place is definitely a gem in Sumbawa. 10/10 would come again!

This place has the wow factor, went for a week and managed to squeeze in nine days,||Beautiful views, beaches, surf, fishing, rain forests, wildlife, waterfalls and mountains, this place is away from the hustle and bustle of Bali, (takes a day to travel to from Bali), this is the real Indonesia,||The place is run by Georgia and Joe who have lived there for many years, speak the language and know the area very well, they couldn't do enough to make the stay any more pleasurable. It's hard to believe they built this house themselves, the rooms are very nice, cool and clean.||It's a very social place to stay, a communal kitchen and living area where information about what to do and where to go is freely bandied about,a great bunch of locals also will leave forever lasting memories.||Need to mention Dana's daily Yoga classes which are a lot of fun and seemed to get everyone involved.||The prices are cheap, accommodation and food is very cheap, don't expect to do any bartering or be ripped off, this is not Bali, the locals are very friendly.||I will return.

Came for a short stay (wish I could live there), non surfing background. Experienced parts of Indonesia I would never have been able to if it weren't for this place. Beautiful location, great town with friendly locals who love a laugh.||||Beautiful house and view, great staff and ownership who welcome you with open arms. ||||Cannot speak higher of this place and its surrounds. ||||Thank-you Joey, Georgia (who I didn't meet), James, Rudy and Agus for a legendary stay!

Georgia and joe are a sweet australian couple which build this whole place on their own on top of a mountain overlooking the famous waves supersuck, playgrounds and doughnuts. Only 3 min bike ride down to the city, maluk. Wonderful view, quite cheap and worth every penny. Big beer fridge and nice kitchen to cook own food. Good location to also explore the surround ing waves and waterfalls. Definately the best place to stay in west sumbawa!! Amazing!

L expérience fut pittoresque comme l arrivée de nuit dans un endroit dont nous n avions aucune connaissance puisqu arrivés au hasard au sommet d une côte improbable !!!||Grande villa ouverte aux 4 vents, dotée de 6 chambres dépourvues de Clim et de charme. Un petit fan fit difficilement l affaire pour une nuit étouffante....||Salle d eau sans miroir!!!! L horreur!!! Sans papier de toilette afin d utiliser les fameux instruments indonésiens... Pas d armoire, de chaise , de porte manteau ou de table pour poser quoique ce soit.... Lampes frontales bienvenues...||Mais on partage tout dans cette villa avec les autres co locataires.||Joey et georgia sont de charmants australiens , la vue est sublime sur le spot de supersuck et la baie de maluk..... Tout pourrait être super si le laisser aller n était que succinct......

Awesome place for surfers and non-surfers alike. Spectacular views across idyllic bays and perfect surf. The house is set up perfectly with a large common-area, communal kitchen and private or shared rooms. It's clean and well-equipped. Georgia and Joey are legends, the best hosts you could hope for. Already planning a return trip!

Ridiculous house on top of a hill overlooking one of the best waves in indo. ||This place has it all, surfing, skating, paragliding, dirt bike trail riding, snorkelling, tropical rainforest waterfalls and eveything else in between. ||Joey and Georgia know this area well and share their knowledge and stories willingly. ||The rooms are awesome all with their own ensuites, mosquito nets and scented complimentary soaps :)||Also has a pool table and a big projector for watching movies. ||A place to always come back too||:)
