I find it a bit sad how dishonestly potential gestures are handled. First, you're offered a room. Then you start talking to a colleague in Thai, and suddenly they say, "Oh, you have a child with you. Sorry, it's not possible." It's a real shame, since a child isn't any louder than adults. Besides, they could have just stated that children aren't welcome, instead of offering a room first. By the way, the area is very ugly, not a good location.
