Review of Playworking - Coliving Space For Digital Nomads

I had a really good time at Playworking, although it was in the middle of the winter and I stayed relatively shortly. It was super easy to make friends and I fell in love with the location, the house and Brownie, Jeffrey's dog. I think it's a really good option for digital nomads and volunteers to reset and focus on yourself while being able to socialize with people at the same time. There is a lot of space, a complete/spacious kitchen and fast WI-FI, which are definitely the 3 most important things for me being a digital nomad. If you have any requests, Jeffrey takes initiative and helps you with whatever you need. For example, I wanted to go skiing and he was very helpful and proposed a plan. In the end I didn't go, but I appreciated his willingness to help. What Jeffrey could Improve on: - I think some of the furniture could be improved. The benches are not very ergonomic, so I didn't feel they were very comfortable. Also some desk chairs in the office are old and need replacement. - I found that some of the volunteers work much harder than others. Jeffrey can be much stricter with volunteers freeriding their way into free accommodation. It's not fair for the other volunteers, nor for customers like me who are paying money for rent. - I felt very fortunate to have a car on me, otherwise it's quite hard to get around, so you will be more dependent on others. (The location is stunning but isn't the easiest, as it's very hilly and not super close a big supermarket or anything, I can only imagine how much harder this is in summer heat).
