Review of Playworking - Coliving Space For Digital Nomads

I stayed in Playworking in January and February this year and had an excellent stay. I was looking for somewhere that would save me money and be quiet to work over the winter months and it fitted the bill - I found a good balance of relaxation and getting work done. I stayed in a double room next to the lounge on the first floor with underfloor heating. The lounge had a wood burner that I lit most days, so all in all very warm and comfortable. It also has a big balcony overlooking the mountains and sea. I think staying in winter is a different experience from the summer, while the weather was way better than I expected (t-shirt weather on sunny days) the water is too cold for water sports (as I anticipated and tbh don't have much interest in) and there are less coworkers and volunteers around. That fitted me really well as we still had a lovely group staying there and had film and game nights, and got out on excursions at weekends (Kotor in particular was really peaceful with way fewer tourists), while I still had peace and quiet to get work done. I walked daily into the smaller supermarket in the village about 20-25 minutes away (the walk has stunning views and i liked the exercise) and the owner Jeffrey also does bigger super market runs a couple of times a week. There is also a really good indepenedent coffee shop the other side of the village. Overall, I would really recommend a winter stay - especially for the price - and I'm planning to do it again in October and November.
