I was planning to stay for one month (August 2022) but decided to leave after three days. - There is no air conditioning in the house at all. It is extremely hot during the day, and I found it very difficult to concentrate on my work and to sleep at night. - The work desks are in no way ergonomically suitable. If this is important for you to know. - You are very isolated. Biking and walking are extremely far and difficult, especially since you are on top of a hill. - While there, I found out that trips to the supermarket are very rare. Even if you bought a lot of food, there's not enough storage in the kitchen or in the fridge for you to store it. - The kitchen always felt dirty, no matter how often they cleaned it. I found the heat and the inconsistency of getting food too inconvenient for me to be productive. The place ended up being much rougher than I expected, so I decided to take a loss and left without the ability to get back my $1,100 booking fee. Additionally, I found it strange that no one in management asked why I was leaving after just three days.
