I was lucky enough to stay at Onda and relish in the glory of this fantastic living space. The home has a stunning wraparound deck that provides an almost full 360 view of the ocean, with each guest room attached to the deck via large sliding glass doors! Waking up everyday and taking in the view from my bedroom was one of my favorite things- I mean who doesn’t love a whole entire wall that’s just glass windows!? It really gives you a sense a luxury. Vasco is a true king of hosting, it’s obvious how much he loves what he does. Beyond being a natural extrovert he appreciates culture and will tell you one interesting story after the other and make you laugh along the way. His warmth and sincerity create a real safe space to exist, whether you find yourself in work mode or play mode ( personally, I was in play mode and he met my energy straight on and elevated it by feeding me lots of lots of sardines, sometimes at 4am). Between the killer beachside location, excellent surf scene, phenomenal food and great people that Onda attracts, I can’t wait to go back.
