This is a wonderful place shaped by a great community and hard-working hosts (Lucie & Paul) who go out of their way to make residents feel at home. The atmosphere is special because they make sure the people who stay share common values and traits. They carefully curate the vibe so that everyone who comes to Ferrel is looking for something different from the typical hostel-like frenzy. They encourage longer stays for this reason, and no matter how long you’ve been there, it’s always hard to leave. The silver lining is that you’ll always want to come back, relax by the pool, work in the coworking spaces, chat with your flatmates, or enjoy some quiet time in your room. If you’re lucky, like I was, you might even have amazing cooks as housemates who will take you on a journey through otherworldly flavors. Lucie has great recommendations for food, surf lessons (Happy Days is the best school ever), fitness classes, yoga, sightseeing, or any other hobby or activity you might be interested in. I was very impressed by her efforts to organize gatherings and outings so you can connect with others (if you’re feeling social). I loved everything about my experience there, and I’ll definitely be back. If you’re reading this, you should try it too ;)

5 star place for surf, pool side shindigs and great people to meet. Co working space works adds a great element for any working traveller. Highly advise as a spot to check into anytime!

Pipedream surpassed my expectations for what co-living could be like. Firstly, the space attracts an exceptional group of travellers and fellow remote workers, and provides a lively but respectful community environment to stay in. The house is well kept, the pool is maintained pristinely and overall the property is regularly cleaned. Paul truly goes the extra mile, responding promptly and acting diligently to make sure your needs are met during your stay. In addition, Paul connects you with those in town through a WhatsApp group to make sure you are quickly brought into the Pipedream family and Ferrel community. Whether you are looking for a quiet place to get your work done in a strong internet connected coworking space or are looking for a place to unwind after a big day surfing at one of the very close breaks, this place is for you!

Had a great time at Pipedream! My room with the balcony was just great for my morning meditation and yoga practice - loved it :). Your backyard is basically Almagreira and in your lunch break you can jump in the pool. Enough room to work for everyone. And of course amazing people to top it all off! Couldn’t have asked for more :).

Wonderful stay in Pipedream! First time for me in this part of Portugal, Pipedream is located in the very calm village Ferrel, but just a 15 minute walk from the beach of Baleal and its many surf spots. This place is perfect for people living that digital nomadic lifestyle, rooms are spacious and cozy, you share the house with other hosts and it is a perfect way to meet new people and socialize, still with enough space for privacy. Internet is fast and there's plenty of space to work. The pool is just the ice on the cake when you are too tired to go surfing ;) Paul & Lucie are also very good host and make everything to make you feel comfortable : barbecue nights, casual dinners outside, bike & surf board rentals (We even went surfing together in his van at a few occasions), and just overall good vibes ! Oh and the music studio is amazing, I definitely need to come back to jam and rock out again :D Much love Pipedream <3

Great place to stay and work. Decent private rooms. Good kitchen. Good wifi for work. The owner makes an effort to draw people in for BBQs, parties, jam sessions. No worries if you don't want to join because you are too tired from surfing. You can always join next time. Always someone available when you need something or need something fixed. Rental of surf gear and bike is available so you can go out whenever you want. Of course the people make the atmosphere and because people stay longer you have more opportunity to chill together and get to know each other.

Loved my experience at pipedream! The house is comfortable, the workspaces are amazing, and the community is so welcoming. It’s the perfect place to have a great balance of fun, relaxation, and productivity. Will be coming back <3

That was my first coworking and coliving experience and I couldn’t have been any better place. I arrived pretty late and even though Paul showed me the house and explained me everything and made me feel comfortable. Lucie ist also a blast as she brings people together due certain activities like beach days and surfin and she just has a really good heart. I really liked the place but even more the people cause that’s what it’s all about, right? We’ve had barbecues and a fun night in the music studio and even though we didn’t get total mental I will think of this special place with pretty special people for a long time though. Oh yeah and working was also great from there lol ;))

I had the best time at Pipe! The location was great, small village where you can encounter with the locals and the nature, yet it’s really close to the beach, great surf locations, bars and cafes. One of the best parts of my stay was the feeling of community at Pipe - we would cook together, go for walks, yoga, play board games, surf, have drinks, dinners etc. The hosts at Pipe are super welcoming! This was my first time working in a coliving place and definitely not the last! I’ll be back! 😊

Absolutely loved my time at Pipedream! The perfect place to find that balance between work and play! Excellent location. Close to everything you need, including the surf, but far away enough to find some peace & quiet! I'll be going back for sure!

I love it here - So much so I've come back twice! Paul, Lucy and Pablo do everything they can to make me feel welcome. The space is great! The place is always tidy, the WiFi works well and the pool is great in the summer time. Not far walking from shops in Ferrel and the beach at Baleal (or Almeguera which is much better for walks) and there's a great pizza place near if you like eating out. They also have loads of information on surf lessons and in house yoga classes if that's your kind of thing.

It's a great place to work and network with fantastic people. Pipedream is in a quiet location, and in my free time I could easily reach amazing surfing beaches within minutes. It was so much fun surfing with such a nice group. Thanks for that!

I immediately felt very comfortable at Pipedream, as I was warmly welcomed into the community. I found everything I needed here, from communal cooking evenings and a comfortable workspace to plenty of suitable surf sessions, even for a beginner like me. 😊

Pipedream is the perfect place to work remotely and surf!! Paul and the team have created an amazing atmosphere that feels like a home. There is excellent internet and good vibes! Everyone I met here was open minded and great fun to go surfing with or just hang out with when not working, I learnt a lot and made some great friends. Initially I booked for just 2 weeks but ended up staying for 2.5 months, and for sure I'll be back next year! Keep the (pipe) dream alive! :D

Pipedream is unbelievable! It's a coliving, surfhouse and coworking. The Coworking area is great with a perfect wifi (I always have many calls and I never had any issues) and super close to the pool. The house is close to beautiful cliffs and the beach. The stuff is great and super friendy, I feel so lucky I've found this place. My only advice is that...once you are there you never wanna leave, because it's such a perfect place.

I love this place so much!! The crew is my family away from home - its way more then a co-working space its a real community. Best place to connect with like-minded people and get a good business advice, when you are stuck or lost in your business. It is also in a great location, away from busy Lisbon, in touch with nature, waves and SURF! which I have never done it before. Thank you Paul, I'll be back next year for 3 more months. Luca

Absolutely amazing place if you are a digital nomad. Fast internet, great coworking area and surf just 5 minutes away. Can highly recommend Pipedream if you need to find a way for working remotely!
