The Perfect Blend of Community, Sustainability, Cleanliness, and Care. I had the pleasure of staying at Quinta for the month of April, 2023. I met wonderful people and immediately felt like a part of a community when I arrived. Joana and Jaime are exceptional leaders who have a contagious commitment to sustainability and community. Their entire team consistently went above and beyond to ensure that all guests felt welcomed and taken care of. The property is a beautiful and historic Azorean manor that maintains an old timey charm while being updated to achieve and surpass the highest of modern sustainability standards with obvious rigour. Sustainability is a core value; you can feel good about your low impact environmental footprint when staying here!! The location was perfect, about a 10 minute walk to central amenities in Ponta Delgada and right on the highway for quick access to the rest of Sao Miguel by car. I was pleasantly surprised by the price and felt it provided an extremely high value for money. I was incredibly impressed by the pristine cleanliness of the whole house... not an easy feat in an extremely humid environment in the middle of the ocean!! Everything was spotless, reflecting the meticulous attention to detail of the cleaning staff. I can not recommend Quinta Do Bom Despacho enough! Thank you to everyone for making my first month in the Azores amazing. :)
