I spent three weeks working from home in Madeira in April and had a fantastic time. The villa is nestled peacefully in the mountains, and the sea view was a highlight every morning. It was perfect for working: a dedicated desk with a monitor in the room, a stable internet connection, and plenty of quiet spots in the garden or inside the house. After work, there was never a dull moment. Figo is a wonderful host and always has ideas, whether it's a short hike, a festival in the next town, an evening on the beach, or simply enjoying a poncha at a nearby bar. The time spent together and the great group quickly fostered a wonderful sense of camaraderie. Lotus, the resident dog, added to the relaxed atmosphere. The villa is superbly equipped, and the cars make it easy to reach all sorts of spots on the island. For me, it was the ideal mix of work, relaxation, and exploring the island. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back.
