"We need to learn to be Human" — a young person in the audience spoke, and the room filled with emotion and recognition. This was the root of what unfolded at TDF this weekend during our Living Territories gathering. Heartfelt conversations about things that matter to us all. Goat cheese, honey and pear sandwiches lovingly prepared by our brunch fairies. And of course the screening of Aldeias do Futuro — a film that didn't let us leave unchanged. Locals expressed their wish for more visits from TDFers. Young people shared their vulnerability openly. And the message from the filmmakers that really sticks with us: how do we move towards living from the land rather than just on it? How do we listen more deeply - to the land, to our neighbors, to the culture landscape we are integrating into? Thank you to every human who showed up and brought your colors and your gifts. And thank you to Re.Rural for what you're building — pathways for young people back to the land, to themselves, to community. We were moved. The seeds planted here are already growing.
