This truly is one incredible place! Nested on side of beautiful Galician hills crossed with literary numerous hiking paths and some of the most ancient hot springs, Sende offers home like atmosphere to travelers, artists, curious people, explorers or digital nomads. Fast and reliable internet connection allows you to get online work done from any of old traditional houses, that had been remodeled to offer really cool accommodation, or simply sit in one of the outdoor gardens and enjoy the sound of nature. Edo and Maru, hosts that made this oasis work will make you feel just as part of the family and help feel like home. Honest recommendation for anyone eager to explore, travel and meet great people to check out their story and visit this place.

A charming place

A place to reflect, work, have fun, and disconnect from city life, meet new people, broaden your horizons, and make decisions. You'll live with a group of 20-25 digital entrepreneurs with whom you can share knowledge, new experiences, and new recipes. New recipes because the kitchen is self-managed, with each person cooking 3-4 times a month and contributing typical dishes from their region, using only unprocessed, natural ingredients sourced directly from local shops and nearby farms. Personally, I highly recommend spending at least a month at Sende. It's been incredibly restorative, allowing me to make decisions, gain clarity, exercise extensively, and work with super-fast internet—all away from the noise of the city. Furthermore, the human connection with Edo e Maria is what makes this place unique, unlike many other coliving spaces or hostels like Selina, which treat members as mere numbers to fill rooms and maximize profit. Here at Sende it's the complete opposite; Edo's care for the coliving experience is the differentiating factor compared to all other options.

I came to Sende based on the recommendations I found here. Other than that, I did not have any expectations and I just came for a month. When I arrived, it was love at first sight. I fell in love with Sende. This place is amazing for work, relax, focus, creativity and everything else you need. The best thing about Sende are the hosts - Maria and Edo. After a couple of days, it felt like visiting a family. On their website they say "we are not a hotel" this is true - because Sende is something much better. Sende is an experience. Experience of friendship, co-living, co-working, co-cooking, sharing and caring for each other, giving and receiving. Amazing people come here. You can be one of them. I will come back for sure. P.S. Sometimes you can "smell the countryside", there is no AC or TV in the rooms, so if you care about that, Sende is not for you. :D :D :D

A cool place to get your work/project done with inspiration and with great views. You can meet some fantastic people from all over the world. You can also go hiking and ride a bicycle. You can actually cross the border with Portugal, by following a mountain trail. And it’s close to Porto, which is another advantage.

A place where things happen. A space to develop any idea or project. Always buzzing with activity and full of people with enriching perspectives. While you can visit for a day, the real treat is a multi-day stay. Edo and Maria, the space's managers, make a stay at Sende a transformative experience. A must for anyone who knows about or wants to enjoy a coliving experience. The space has internet access. They mention it's limited, but I've never had any problems with the speed. They cook organic food, using produce from the neighbors' gardens. They have bunk beds and single beds. It's made up of several stylishly restored houses, making you feel like a true resident of Senderiz. The village's population often equals the number of guests at the coworking space. There's a pool at the top of the village that serves as a swimming pool. The water is cool, but in summer it becomes a perfect refuge from the sun. The property is located in a valley with views of the Peneda do Xerés Natural Park in the distance. Just a short walk from the village, you might encounter wildlife such as deer, horses, and more.
