Review of The Cocotera Boutique Hostel & Coworking

I had booked five nights from Dec 23-28, 2019 and left after the first night to find another place at my own expense. That is how little I could face four more nights there. The shared women's washroom on the second floor wasn't great, and I couldn't face using either of the showers, that's how terrible they looked.||||I had paid to have all four beds in a four bunk room to myself and the room I had (Banana) was still subpar -- the "window" was to a small, dark atrium with no light or ventilation that was basically a window into the opposite room. In Canada we would expect to be warned if we are booking a room with a "window" that doesn't offer either adequate daylight or adequate ventilatin.||||The rooftop patio has at least one cushion that looks like it came from a crime scene, and even though the views are great, it makes for an uncomfortable place to spend any time.||||I didn't stay long enough to use the co-working space which was one of the main draws of La Cocotera for me, but when the guest experience of the room/washroom is subpar, a great cowling space can't make up for it.
