I’ve been staying in Amarilla for 2 weeks of July. It was an amazing experience. I came alone and I immediately met amazing people. The houses have just everything that you need – access to the swimming pools, big shared living room area, I had a nice bedroom with big bed. Cleaning service is included twice a week. In the price is included also the access to the coworking space, which I’ve been using almost every day. That’s a perfect place to get focused. It’s just 7 min by foot from the house, the Internet connection is super fast and you can rent an additional screen or use a conference room in case it’s needed.
I work full-time so I can say that Amarilla is a perfect place for remote workers, to get focused, as well as great to chill at the nearby beach by the ocean after work.
The neighbourhood is rather quiet, during the weekends I rented a car to visit other parts of the islands, so the best option is to share a rental car with your friends. Amarilla also organizes few events every week. I participated in the sushi lunch, BBQ evening, as well as networking meetings in the bars. They also ogranize one day road trip to the must-see places – Teide, Masca, village with the dragon tree, and natural pools. I highly recommend it !
This was my first experience to live in a coliving/coworking space and I’ve fallen in love with this idea. Everyday you meet amazing open-minded people, but also you have time to chill and gets your own things done. The team is doing the great job, and everyone is super nice. I hope to come back one day maybe during the winter!
