YOU’RE INVITED TO THE PRIVATE VIEW… ‘Dressing Up’ is the upcoming exhibition by @partnershipeditions showcasing works by seven artists to explore how adornment serves as both a public performance and a private necessity. In an era where our identities are increasingly dematerialised through digital reproduction, this exhibition asserts the importance of the analogue, the tactile, and the embodied. Through fabric, paper, clay, and text, seven artists explore how we use the “surface”, and the ceremony of dress, to negotiate the depths of history, psychology, and the self.
