Just love love love this place! My room had all the essentials for a two night stay - the bed was super clean and comfy, and the windows closed out any noise disturbances along with a very effective blackout blind. The vibe in the building is chic and calm - I hardly ventured into the outside world, which is not surprising given all the offerings built into my booking. On eve #1 I watched a great independant movie from a comfy one-person couch in the cinema room, and on eve #2 headed to the listening lounge to immerse myself in fabulous vinyl vibes whilst zoning on a on daybed watching walkers stroll along the canal. During the day, I enjoyed kicking back in the beautifully decorated lounges, scrolling through a number of very interesting coffee table books which are scattered around the various lounges. Note to self: get a copy of "Looking at Trees" Hoxton Mint Press. I made full use of the complimentary spa facilities and took advantage of the in-house masseuse, all of which left me feeling way more chilled out than when I first arrived. I know I said I hardly ventured outside - I confess I did .... on both mornings I made myself an excellent quality coffee and munched on fruits (both gratis) in the 10th floor lounge and enjoyed the panoramic views of bustling London from the balcony. My experience of M&F - from being greeted by very welcoming and helpful staff to literally floating around the building enjoying all it has to offer - was one of both wonderful surprise and absolute delight. I could have easily settled in for longer (much much longer) but alas I had to face the big wide world again. Thank you M&F!
