Co404 origin story — march 2020 © We started dreaming about a place that would be perfect for digital nomads during Covid when the whole world went remote. We couldn’t find a place that ticked all of our boxes like good wifi, a nice community but also enough privacy to focus on work. So we set out to build it ourselves! We fell in love with San Cristobal de las Casas in Mexico and decided it would be the perfect digital nomad destination. We bought an old hostel there and started renovating it exactly how we wanted it. Now 2 years later we have created an amazing digital nomad community in our cozy Co404 San Cristobal home, started a second home in Oaxaca City and a third in Medellín, Colombia.
