A bad hotel (Oasis Inn) in a bad neighbourhood (Tenderloin). The parking lot wasn’t secure, the receptionists were rude, the room wasn’t as pictured, the shower pressure was extremely high, there was a lot of road noise, and the co-working space was not 24/7 as advertised.
I recommend reading reviews of The Oasis Inn (same address), or the Tenderloin area of San Francisco for a more accurate idea of what to expect. There is a large homeless problem, it is not safe. For example, one of my colleagues found a used needle under his bed (picture attached)! I saw several needles discarded on the street nearby.
