We stayed at Startup Basecamp for a week while we were back in SF. We were lucky to stay in one of the brand new rooms that were recently renovated. It was comfortable, clean, spacious and well-equipped. Of course, the best part of Startup Basecamp is the team behind it (Guillaume and Maria), and the community events and coworking space. We even hosted a BBQ in the garden deck, on a rare sunny SF day. The other thing is the location – it’s easy to walk Downtown or get to BART from the hotel. While it’s not the cleanest neighborhood in the city, it is good for getting around for business meetings.
