Without a doubt, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in in Santa Catarina. The location is perfect! The hostel has direct access to the beach... and that little path to the beach is also beautiful, with bungalows and spaces to relax. It's really worth taking the time to enjoy these spaces. The hostel's location within Barra da Lagoa is also good, as it's close to the town center and you can do everything on foot. || The infrastructure is impeccable! A very large house that has been adapted for the hostel, a very large and airy living room, with spacious sofas for relaxing and a desk for laptops. The kitchen is also very large, organized and clean! There's a large table where everyone sits together, making it easy to meet new people. There are also several other tables outside, so you can prepare your meal or coffee and eat outside. || The leisure area is very spacious, as mentioned, with several tables, benches and sun loungers. There's also a lot of nature in the leisure area, which creates a very peaceful and pleasant environment. The hostel's care in keeping everything organized and clean is evident. The pool is also quite large and has two water levels, one for swimming and another more for relaxing. There's also a bar accessible from the pool. || For the first few days we stayed in the suites, which are separate buildings in the courtyard of this large house. We really liked them! They are spacious, clean, organized, and quiet! || For the last two days we opted for the shared rooms, which we also found to be quite spacious and clean. The bathrooms are very large in the bedroom areas (good showers too). Initially, we stayed in the room with five wider beds "on the floor." The view is very nice. However, as there was a guest who snored a lot, we asked to change rooms. The staff were super attentive and allocated us to the room with 10 beds. To our surprise, the room was gigantic and (SUPER POSITIVE POINT) has a very large closet. The fact that there's a closet is a great thing, because when guests want to get their luggage, there's no mess or noise in the room, since the closet is in another room. || The staff are very friendly and super attentive. || The hostel offers food promotions every day of the week, having "pizza day," "feijoada day," etc. || In short, it's very worthwhile. Relaxing in the leisure area after a day at the beach was wonderful. |||| Only negative points: || There's no juice at breakfast || There's no parking (there is, but it's only one space for whoever gets it first)
