The Search is everything they say and more. It was my first solo trip and I felt super welcome, plus the infrastructure is impeccable and the location is easily accessible to anywhere else on the island. The meals are great and average, the rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The hostel has direct access to Barra beach, which is one of its strongest points, besides the deck which brings the greatest sense of peace and a breathtaking sunset. Absolutely perfect, totally worth it... the only problem will be finding another hostel as good as this one.
