We spent New Year's Eve at an event hosted by The Search. I can say it was the worst experience we had in Florianópolis. The ticket price included open food and an open bar. Besides not providing what was supposed to be served beforehand, when we arrived there were only a few eggplant nachos and a meager cold cuts table. The nachos ran out in minutes. As a result, we went hungry at an event that promised and charged for open food. The toilets were portable toilets and couldn't handle the number of people there. I bitterly regret it and I don't recommend the hostel's events to anyone.
