My husband and I have been at Flamingo for over three weeks now and only have excellent things to say about this coworking space and hotel. This is really a three part review, hotel, coworking spaces and Spanish lessons. The hotel is very clean, AC in all the rooms, and very friendly staff. We stayed in a private king bed suite and the room was very comfortable with a desk, a squishy bean bag chair and a big beautiful bed as well as private bath. Oh! Also, the rooms have windows which is so important for longer stays! The room was very big and open. Because we have stayed for an extended time it was easy to build relationships with all staff from housekeeping, security, front desk and managers. They were all so easy to talk to and helpful. Housekeeping always checked with me about cleaning my room and was wiling to do it daily if I wanted. The coworking spaces are beautiful with tables, comfortable chairs with lap desks and also private air conditioned rooms if you need. The wifi never went out and was super fast. They also have coffee available all day long and fresh drinking water at no extra cost. I highly recommend the coworking spaces for a good place to work and excellent wifi. Spanish classes.. I took the travelers course with Paola. Paola is a great teacher and the course really helped me refresh my Spanish and learn new tips for making it through the days and going to stores and taxis etc. The only caution I give people is the noise. Before we booked our room the manager advised us that because we were right next to La Brisa Loca it can get a little noisy at night. We were prepared to deal with the noise and it was expected. So on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights we could hear some of the regatón bass from next door. We dealt with it by turning on our AC and the fans and that really blocked out most of the noise. I also used my earplugs and was able to sleep perfectly fine. On the plus side, as guests of Flamingo you are granted access to all of La Brisa’s facilities, pool, restaurant and terraces. You can run a tab there as well. All in all it is a wonderful place to live and work. The staff is all really so helpful and kind. Always taking care, helping me with my Spanish and making sure we were comfortable. I read some of the not good reviews and all I can say is those are so old and it must not be the same people working there as now. I love the staff!!
