Catastrophic Experience – Daytime Burglary and Complicit Staff? We stayed for a week in this aparthotel. Everything was fine until the last day. Having a late flight (10:35 PM), we asked to keep the room a little longer, which the staff agreed to. We went sunbathing a few meters from the apartment and, upon our return, discovered a burglary: a suitcase had been ransacked, a patio door had been opened (it had never been used), and cash, ID cards, bank cards, and sneakers had been stolen. The most shocking thing: the staff didn't react at all. We had to insist that they call the police. The "police officer" arrived, gave me a high five, inspected the premises carelessly, and ended up blaming us for the theft. It was impossible to get a police report because we supposedly had to "wait for an investigation." We had to leave without any justification. Upon further investigation, we discovered that other travelers had experienced similar thefts at the same hotel, with the same suspicious behavior from the staff. None of this is clearly mentioned in the site's reviews, which is extremely concerning. No support, no security, no accountability. This hotel should be avoided at all costs. Expedia should stop recommending it until these serious issues are addressed. If you value your belongings and your peace of mind, steer clear.
