I don't understand how this hotel can have such high ratings. We arrived at 2 PM and tried calling three different phone numbers several times without getting an answer until 6 PM. When we got to our room, the sheets smelled strongly of damp, and the floor was flooded due to a leak. The common areas were poorly maintained; a dog on the premises was urinating everywhere, the guest kitchen was unusable (the refrigerator didn't work, and the overall hygiene was very poor), and the pool wasn't maintained. Despite all this, it was nice to have a pool, and the shower water was hot. After traveling in Indonesia and staying in many hotels in the same price range, this one is by far the worst.
