Cornerstone Coworking & Coliving

I don't understand how this hotel can have such high ratings. We arrived at 2 PM and tried calling three different phone numbers several times without getting an answer until 6 PM. When we got to our room, the sheets smelled strongly of damp, and the floor was flooded due to a leak. The common areas were poorly maintained; a dog on the premises was urinating everywhere, the guest kitchen was unusable (the refrigerator didn't work, and the overall hygiene was very poor), and the pool wasn't maintained. Despite all this, it was nice to have a pool, and the shower water was hot. After traveling in Indonesia and staying in many hotels in the same price range, this one is by far the worst.

It is an excellent place for accommodation and recreation, close to everything, the owner of the place and the staff here are very friendly, you feel in this place like your home, I will always repeat this experience Thank you Mr Fayz 🙏❤️

Cornerstone is the perfect mix of productivity and peace. The coworking spaces are well-designed, the environment is calm and green, and the community vibe is amazing. Had a nice and chilled 4-weeks-stay there. Lovely owner, very helpful and friendly. Room was Clean, AC good, nothing to complain. Location ist a Bit far from the beach, which was fine for me. Quiet area, but good Connection to roads in all directions. Free drinking water, fridge in shared kitchen 👍🏻

Amazing experience and a fantastic team! We felt right at home very quickly. Faiz invited us to join him on his surfing and motorcycling adventures and showed us his favorite spots, which allowed us to have some incredible experiences and get our bearings very quickly. The whole team took such good care of us, so a huge thank you to you all: Faiz, Jea, Agung, Gede, and Pablo (the cat 🐈)!

We stayed 2 months in the Cornerstone, that's simple : we felt like home. With a bike, we were not far from Batu Bolong and Écho Beach. The place is quiet and the coliving space is really good. We will definitely miss this place !

It's worth it for the price. The room wasn't very clean, the sheets and pillowcases looked unwashed.

We booked this one month before coming to Bali and were super excited to stay here for a month. Still at home, we suddenly get a message in Booking.com asking us to cancel our booking as our room „was rented for the next six months“. We answered that we don’t want to cancel as we already arranged flights and everything. In the end, they cancelled via Booking and left us hanging dry. On top of that, the room that was supposedly booked for three month was still available via Booking. Overall, a terrible impression of what originally looked like a good place.

Faiz went above and beyond to help us. He was always available on Whatsapp and he helped us with the scooter rental and even when we got a flat tire. You can pay using Wise and the money arrives instantly! The King Room has 2 desks, so if you are a couple I recommend this one. The staff was so nice and so efficient. We requested cleaning once a week and they were always so fast and left the room smelling good. The WIFI WAS SO FAST! The location is fantastic, things are cheaper on this side and there's not as much traffic as in Canggu. We are so happy we stayed here

The number of outdoor seating areas is great here: on the rooftop, you can watch the sunset while sitting on beanbags surrounded by greenery. Down by the pool, there are spots where I did my morning exercises and meditated. There's a common area where you can sit and work. The manager often plays pleasant, quiet piano music on the TV, which I really like – unlike other noisy places. It's truly peaceful and pleasant to sit there. I stayed in a large room, but now I'm moving to a separate two-story room, and I'm so glad I'm staying here. I love the location – away from the bustling city. And there's so much greenery all around – it's a feast for the eyes! The staff cleans every day if you ask for it in advance. Manager Faiz is always responsive to any requests; he's very friendly and kind, always willing to help – and that's very nice. I made several suggestions for improving the space, and he was happy to take them into account and make adjustments.

We were here for about 2 weeks and it felt a little bit like home. Faiz is the manager and he brings the people there together. He has become our friend. It was a wonderful time there that we will never forget. The accommodation is very nice and has just been renovated. The team is also very very friendly. The rooms and beds are very clean & the location is super central yet a quiet place. When we come back to Bali we will come again. Thank you for everything! Beautiful place and beautiful people.

I would like to share my best time in Bali. We were there for the first time in Bali/Canggu. We didn't know how, where and where we should. Then somehow got into Cornerstone and took a look at it. The first impression was a very quiet area. It came quickly Faiz the mangager of the accommodation. He showed us the accommodation and the rooms. The entire complex with pool, garden, work area, kitchen and the rooms are very well designed and creatively made. We were there for a total of 2.5 weeks and also got to know the owner briefly. Very nice gentleman with wisdom. However, we would like to say a big thank you to Faiz. We can't put into words what he did for us. It is important to him that we were well during the time we were at Cornerstone. He has always managed to bring together everyone who has booked in Cornerstone. We laughed a lot with Faiz, he also shared his private time with us. I'll credit him for that! When we needed something, Faiz was always there. We miss it! In any case, we would come right there again. PS: at the end of our trip, he organised a BBQ Grill Party where all guests are invited and how everyone together can remember the moment again. That will always remain in our hearts! Thank you Cornerstone, thank you service staff, thank you FAIZ!

For any traveler we look for home away from home, especially if it’s for a long duration. The moment I saw the place I knew it was going to be a great stay. Nestled in the quiet region of Canggu this place has it all. From lovely rooms, the open cafe, sun deck for yoga and mediation, fully equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi, scooter parking and a great staff who are always available to help. I can easily recommend this place for anyone looking for space in Canggu and little away from busy Canggu areas. It’s just 10-15 mins scooter ride from the nearest beach. My stay was very memorable and made some good friends with whom I wish to meet and travel soon.

Relaxing vibes with a nice sized pool and comfy living area.

I've been in Bali for four months now and have stayed in five guesthouses. Cornerstone is the best. The staff is excellent, they clean every other day, and a landry is included. The staff also helps with any questions (Hi, Umam). The main advantage is the excellent internet – 50 MB via Wi-Fi (streaming video works and video calls don't drop) and 300 MB via LAN cable – absolutely fantastic for those who need a broadband connection. There are several room types. I live in the smallest one, and for one person it's perfectly adequate. The price at the time of writing is $250 per month, which is very low. Cornerstone is a great guesthouse, I recommend it to everyone.

The place is managed very well and the staff here is super nice. Shout out to the manager Umam-I haven’t met such a helpful and kind person in a while! The communication before arrival was very smooth, I arrived pretty late and Umam was there not only to check me in, but also to answer all my questions (I had many😅), helping to arrange a sim card and a scooter. Okay I stayed in this place in December to early January this year. Here's my experience in this place. Pro: 1. The residents were very pleasant and friendly, even on my last day there we did a group photo. Not to forget, there are many fun chats in the evening until the midnight and during the new year. I had a lot of new friends while I was staying here. 2. Many cheap and tasty food places around this place. I mean very cheap, like Nasi Jinggo only for 5K (pork) also dimsum (start 1k – 3k) and the taste of the food are very delicious. So, it's fun to go on a culinary tour. It is also close to the beach and some famous food places. 3. I really like the design of my room and the very fast internet access. I also love the swimming pool. It's fun and very safe! 4. I like the workers, Bli Agung - Bli Putu - and Kak Jea are very pleasant and friendly. Even Kak Jea provides information about the nearest church and what time the church begins. Thanks a lot! 5. They are quite diligent to clean my bedroom, so it always looks neat and fun. 6. I fell in love with the view behind this place that you can access in the yoga area, especially at dusk. 7. Since my room was number one and close to the river, then I could enjoy the sound of the river at night and in the morning. Very calming. 8. They have a large and spacious working space. Not only that, there are many electrical plugs available and there are food and drinks sold in this place. So you will not feel hungry when you are working in a working space. Cons: 1. When I first went from the airport to this place it turned out that Google maps made me miss because I had to pass through small roads (which I shouldn't have passed through). And in google maps there are two location points that use this place name. So, it was very designing at the beginning when I was looking for this place. Conclusion: I love to stay in this place and it's fun. I spent the holidays, Christmas and birthdays in this place and everything felt good. I don't mind coming back to stay at this place for a long period of time. Btw, for Gavin thank you for your b'day cake! Things to know: 1. They don't have a shower toilet spray, but it's not a main issue for me but they provide towels that are replaced once every two days. 2. Bring your own toiletries, as they do not provide soap and shampoo. 3. If you are worried about mosquitoes or insect, you can buy Mosquito Repellent Spray. Alfamart and Indomaret are nearby. Remember, you're in a tropical country. 4. My advice to make it easier for you to go anywhere, don't forget to rent a motorcycle. If you bring a car then you cannot park in this area. You can park in the alley leading to this place. 5. They provide water, so you can take it for free. 6. Because of this Bali and the land is very fertile then do not be surprised if you see many animals that are quite large than those in the city. Keep in mind once again, this is Bali and consider this a pretty pleasant sight to see although at first you will be surprised. So get used to it.

I stayed here for two months. This place exceeded my expectations. The rooms, pool and common areas were excellent. Very accommodating staff, they even helped me find a good deal on a scooter. The guests and employees were very trustworthy, left my laptop in the common area many times unattended without any issues. The best part about this place is the atmosphere with the digital entrepreneurs that stay here. Great work environment for a digital nomad. I even made a connection here that helped me in my most recent career endeavor. I highly recommend this place.
