We stayed at the Paica for 2 nights and can definitely recommend it! First of all, it is quiet. It is located in Kerobokan district on a small street, meaning you won't be hearing motorbikes under your window all the time. You might be woken up by a rooster but not by a motorbike :) All people, who work at this place are super friendly. Everything from the beginning till the end was neatly organized. We arrived from Sumba and were picked up and spent a half a day driving around Bukit. The next day we had an idea to see the east part of Bali and Kadek organized again a car with a driver for 10 hours. The offered price was honest! We liked a lot the way of driving, behavior and politeness of the driver. |Breakfast is not included in the room price, which is already super low. However, you can order an omelette and coffee for 15k IDR, which is around 1$. Brewed coffee and nice omelette for 1$! Great value! Rooms are spacious and equipped with AC that is blowing somewhere but not into your head, when you sleep. Comfy bed, hot shower, AC, what else will you need?.. Payment can be done with a credit card (3% tax should be accounted). |If we ever come back to Bali and Denpasar, the Paica will be the place number 1 on our list. |The only minus I could remember about the place is high stairs, which might be an issue for elderly people and for those, who have issues with their knees.
