Lisi & Lucky are the best! I stayed here for a whole month at their place – and from day one, it felt like home. Homebase is so much more than just a place to stay – it’s a real, small community that feels like family. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the overall vibe is warm, safe, and inspiring. As a guest, you also benefit from Lisi’s amazing creativity: she organized everything from visits to a local school to curry cooking nights, skill shares, and art workshops – beautiful experiences that bring people together and are a beautiful way to learn about life in Sri Lanka.
