I wish I hadn't had to write this review at all; a simple reply would have been perfectly sufficient. Last week, I submitted an inquiry through the booking portal on the website, and since I received no response, I sent an email, unfortunately without any reply whatsoever. I also tried calling several times, leaving messages on the answering machine multiple times, as did my husband, but received no return call. At one point, I actually had the brief impression that there was some human life on the other end of the line: I reached someone who informed me that there was still availability in principle, but that bookings could only be made through the booking department. When I asked if I could be transferred there, I was told they didn't want to "cause any stress." I found this interesting, because I was never concerned with stress or haste, only with the slightly eccentric notion of eventually receiving reliable information about whether a booking was possible or not. I was then promised a callback within the next hour. That callback has still not come. Even in the following days, further attempts to call and messages left on the answering machine remained fruitless, again without any sign of life. If I hadn't at least briefly reached a real person, I would now believe that this service consists only of a website, an answering machine, and good intentions. It's a real shame, because having a working contact would be a perfectly reasonable idea for a booking service.
