We stayed in the cottage at Il Fornello in May 2009. From our initial call to make the reservation all went smoothly. Il Fornello is on a quiet road in the hills. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent Nearby are many small hill towns. Orvieto is an easy drive, and there are many small hill towns in any direction. It is a good base for seeing much of Umbria and nearby Tuscany. There are supermarkets nearby. Be sure to eat at IL Fornello. You will not be disappointed.
