Treballu - Rural Coliving and Creative Hub

I recently spent two weeks at Carlo and Annalisa's coliving space in Laconi, Sardinia, and it was an exceptional experience. Carlo and Annalisa were incredibly accommodating, from picking me up at the airport to cooking delicious food and even arranging a rental car so I could explore the island. Laconi, a charming and rural village with few tourists, provided an authentic Sardinian atmosphere. The house was well-equipped for both work (reliable and fast internet) and daily life. If you're looking for an authentic Sardinian experience with attentive hosts, I highly recommend Carlo and Annalisa's place in Laconi. It was a fantastic stay!

I stayed in Treballu with a friend of mine for 2 weeks this spring. I would like to start my review with the Treballu team as one of the main motivation of mine to stay in coliving places is meeting like minded people. I should say that Treballu team is the best coliving team I've ever experienced. They were very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. They made us feel that we are part of a huge family with delicious dinners, long chats, walks in the forest. The coworking place is well equipped and we had everything we needed. The location of the coliving is in the center of Sardinia island and 2-3 mins away from the Aymerich park. You could give short breaks for a nice forest walk while you are working. Treballu team also organized mushroom hunting in the mountain and it was a wonderful experience for us. We went to the mountain for sunset watching several times.

I was supposed to stay at Treballu for a month, but ended up extending my stay for a further two weeks, foregoing accommodation and flights I had already booked, that's how much I enjoyed my stay in Treballu! There's no better way to describe Treballu than a "home away from home". Carlo and Annalisa find that perfect balance of keeping you engaged with the community through many events, workshops, day trips to other parts of Sardinia, while at the same time allowing and encouraging you to go out and explore on your own, or to relax and unwind. There's no better way to bond with people than cooking & eating together and at Treballu there's no shortage of opportunities, this really allowed me to get to know the other guests on a much deeper level and make great connections; an added bonus is Annalisa's Michelin star level meals! I could go on and on, but there's no better way to summarize my stay and thoughts on Treballu than by quoting Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back". I stayed at Treballu for 2 weeks this summer, and I had an amazing time there. Why? - Liz and Carlo, Treballu’s hosts, are passionate people with very kind hearts. - I connected with beautiful individuals and made connections that I will never forget. - I felt at home there, chatting and cooking with fellow colivers. - The people who were there were curious, open-minded and also ready to share their passions and knowledge with one another. - The village of Laconi is charming. - My stay was full of “dolce far niente”, slow living vibes 🧡 - The Coworking space is cozy and well equipped, it really helped me be productive. - I got to sing with Carlo and his guitar!! - There’s a hamac in the outside space 🤪 Thank you Treballu for this amazing stay. Treballu Rural Hub is the place I felt as home from the moment I got there. The combination of living together in a beautiful house and working in a comfortable space made my experience just amazing. The owners take care of the space, activities in a free time (such as meeting local community, visiting near by villages, movie nights and experiencing the lifestyle in a Blue Zone). Carlo&Annalisa are always helping with whatever you question is. During my stay of 2 weeks I fell in love with this place, made friendships with like-minded people, learned a lot about Italian cuisine and customs. Whenever I'll get a chance, will come back! I spent two weeks working in the beautiful town of Laconi and felt very comfortable there. My hosts, Anna-Lisa and Carlo, are incredibly welcoming, and cooking and eating together was a lot of fun. It is a very nice place, with a great location in an old rural village, just 5 minutes by walk from a beautiful park and a waterfall. Rooms are nice and clean, with a pleasant coworking space, and Carlo and his local friends are great and helpful people. I will go back for sure.

I spent an amazing time in Treballu! I was doing a road trip through Sardinia and stopped by for a few days. The house is super cute and with everything you need, and the town, Laconi, is a "retreat" in the nature! You have a beautiful park nearby to go for walks, and you can even do a licor tasting, delicious! Carlo was super helpful and we took a trip to other towns during the weekend, had a lot of fun!

Treballu co-living was a unique experience for me. I met people from Turkey and Portugal, but also engaged a lot with the people from the village, which gave me a really cool local experience. I was able to slow down and enjoy a new culture, all the while not having to take vacation from work. I would really recommend it. Carlo, the owner, is really cool and will take you to places and experiences all over the Island. You should definitely ask for Olbia. We also had typical Turkish and Sardinian cooking nights. I am now a master of Spaghetti Carbonara. Go and visit the Monkey bar, the gigantic forest and enjoy your stay here, you won't regret it.
