The kitesurfing camp can be described in one word: outstanding! I've stayed in many hostels in different countries, but this one was by far the best. The exterior was very welcoming and friendly, with nice benches and tables for meals, plenty of seating for socializing in the evenings, and hammocks for relaxing. The rooms and bathrooms were also clean and modern; even the curtains had been freshly replaced during my stay. What impressed me even more was the camp's excellent organization. You're always kept up-to-date via your smartphone, for example, whether surf lessons can take place given the current weather conditions or what activities are available and which ones you can sign up for. The hostel offers much more than just the activity you're there for. We, for instance, went on a cliff-jumping excursion. The camp is also conveniently located for exploring Lagos' restaurants and nightlife in the evenings. They left nothing to be desired. The food at the camp was simply fantastic as well. There was a different type of meal every evening (e.g., Italian or Greek night), and the food was prepared to restaurant standards. Breakfast was also excellent. Together with the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, it was an absolutely wonderful experience to be part of this camp for a week. Whether traveling solo or in a group, you can look forward to a truly fantastic time. Many of the visitors have already decided to return next year, and there were also many participants who had previously stayed with Algarve Watersports. I will be back too!
