We were a group of 4 and did 3 days of surf lessons for beginners. For the first day we were with Ansan who was great fun and very professional, using the sand to help us visualise how we should catch a wave. His adorable puppy who loves to catch sand also joined us. For the other 2 days we had Alex pretty much all to ourselves. We made amazing progress, especially my friend who was already standing by the end of the 1st day, but all of us were catching waves by ourselves by the end of the second day (with Alex pointing out which waves were good and how far out we should go). I struggled a little with getting on the board still, but Alex was very patient and attentive. By the 3rd day we were just having great fun and chill vibes. All instructors and guests were very friendly and welcoming, with my brother even staying after to chill at the camp for a bit at the end of the day. We all now have a love for surfing and want to get back out into the ocean again :) *btw, we went in June, an thought the water was cold we didn’t feel it thanks to the wetsuits!
