Review of Gota dÁgua Surf Camp

511nelled

Last year, on an impulse, I made the decision to go on a surf trip. I had never stood on a board before, but when you look at Home and Away, it actually seems pretty easy. With only expectations for surfing, I headed towards Gota d'agua. But wow, what beautiful, warm people. I could never have imagined the family feeling they have associated with a 'little surf trip'. This year, I simply had to go back, if only for the atmosphere and warmth. The renovation of the accommodation was just a bonus. It is really good, even more than good. But it fades into the background simply because of the atmosphere, warmth, and friendliness of the volunteers and organizers present. They aren't the ones who say "Hi" and "Here is your room." They are much more than that; they welcome everyone and are super flexible. Not the most sociable person? No problem, there is always someone in the camp who suits your personality. And yes, the instructors, so much passion and love for surfing. They ensure that everyone can develop at their own pace. With, of course, a lot of getting back up and even more falling. Gosh, I am full of praise and could go on like this for a while. But are you doubting whether traveling alone or with a friend will actually be beneficial? Just make a booking and you won't regret it for a moment!
