The staff, location, interior design, range quality of facilities are all outstanding, and beyond these the hostel's atmosphere is just perfect for a trip where you'd like to appreciate the artsy and cerebral vibe of St Petersburg. Also, beside being close to many of the main sights (Hermitage, Russian Museum, etc.), there're a lot of places nearby offering fun activities, like the New Holland Island, Angleterre Cinema (probably the only place in the city to see a wider range arthouse movies in their original language) or the St Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, where one can get surprisingly inexpensive tickets.
