I stayed in Maraya for a month and was very enthusiastic about this experience, I think it was the perfect time to make this experience truly meaningful and to leave without regrets knowing that I had fully enjoyed the experience. Maraya is a happy oasis where you can enjoy your time that finally seems to slow down. It is a unique opportunity to meet people from all over the world and build bonds. It is a base for exploring the island and doing lots of activities organized by the volunteers, who are extraordinary! What makes Maraya special is not only the place, which seems like a natural paradise, but the climate that inhabits it, which the founders have committed to creating and which they maintain thanks to the help of volunteers: the light-heartedness, the desire to share , mutual respect and help, evenings by the pool drinking wine and chatting and much more! I thank you for making me feel welcomed and at home from day 1, I recommend this experience to all those who love nature, are capable or want to set off alone to discover themselves and at the same time share these adventures with other people. Even for those who have never had experiences of this type, it is an excellent, safe place to start, although rustic, everything is clean and well-kept. The meals which are often a mix of vegetarian and various cultures are prepared with love. The organization is perfect from when they take care of picking you up and taking you back to the plane, bringing you to every activity designed to help you get to know the island and have fun, so take heart, the sunrises from the rooftop are incomparable!
