This is the room As Vacas 🐄 which means the cows in Galician. And, this was my (Inés´) room when I was little 👧

In traditional Galician farmhouses, the stables were part of the house and typically used to take a big chunk of the ground floor of the building, next to the kitchen.

We named this room As Vacas because it is placed on top of where the cows used to be.

I (Ines) have lovely memories of my childhood in this bedroom… like the floor being so old that I could see the cows through a little hole next to my bed.
