My stay at The Tree House Hostel was an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, with guests from all over the world creating a lively and international vibe. I stayed in a private room, which included two beds and a private bathroom, and it was quite comfortable. The hostel has fantastic common areas, with the highlight being the beautiful swimming pool and terrace, offering stunning sea views. The bar, billiard table, and social gatherings made it easy to meet new people. The staff are volunteers who are friendly and helpful. The hostel does not offer meals, but there's a communal kitchen where you can prepare your own food. They also offer breakfast for 5 euros with several options, and the avocado toast was my favorite. It's important to note that only card payments are accepted for room bookings, while cash is needed for the bar and other expenses. The hostel also provides a shuttle service to the nearest town for shopping, which is convenient as the nearest store is about a 20-minute walk away. One downside is the noise from airplanes, as it's close to the flight path. Additionally, if you're sensitive to noise, you might be bothered by the loud music played for many hours during the day, and this hostel may not be suitable for kids. Highlights: there are plenty of communal activities like surfing trips and BBQ nights, which enhance the social experience. Lastly, the hostel offers work-friendly spaces with free Wi-Fi, making it a good option for remote work. Overall, I absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend it!
