Perhaps you have ever felt that you could not continue with your way of life. Maybe you wanted to quit your job… Maybe you felt that your life had no meaning, that you had no balance. Maybe you felt like you were destroying yourself... And when the time comes, you quit your job, and decide to start again, with new values, with new purposes. And you feel that you have done the right thing, because that life was destroying you... Maybe that’s what is happening in the Canary Islands... Maybe this is how many of us Canarians feel... Perhaps, that is why we want and are asking for a change in the system, a new tourism and economic model... - We have destroyed most of our unique natural areas... - We have even created a fake identity, which is pure marketing for tourist - We have built an unsustainable economic model in an extremely fragile ecosystem - We can not live or find a job on our own islands... - We knew what we were doing, and we knew the consequences... In EcoIsleta we believe in a different model, we are working to be an example of sustainability and local impact... A long time ago I got fed up with complaining, and instead of that we decided to build something useful and meaningful for our community We open an organic shop and a Sustainable Coliving... If you are somebody eager to work on the solutions to the problems, maybe you are interested in our proposition... I´ll be honest, we are learning while walking, I don´t have the answers but for sure, a few good questions to think about, and believe it or not, everything starts with a good question...
