Everything was absolutely spotless. The space is maintained to perfection — super clean, organized, thoughtfully designed and fully equipped. You’re close to the beach, cafés, supermarkets — yet it still feels peaceful. It’s the perfect base for enjoying the island with the big bus station and bus stops walking distance. The community vibe was amazing. There are activities organized regularly like community dinners, spontaneous walks or beach time together, making it easy to connect. I stay in touch with people I met in the Coliving. Simply unbeatable hosts and staff. Incredibly kind and dedicated to making sure everyone has the best possible experience. Real highlight to me was focus on sustainability: reversed osmosis water filter in the kitchen so I did not use a single plastic bottle, eco cleaning products, recycling, optimal use of resources, vegan dinner options. Next to the coliving is the organic shop with delicious fresh organic local products which I highly recommend. The best passion fruit I've ever had, vegetables and fruits. Las Palmas is quite a good place for vegans and vegetarians with a lot of shops offering organic and local products. The city is very vibrant with plenty of events in the beach area near which the coliving is located. I will return 🌿

Love this place. Second time here already, and only reason I didn’t stay longer was because there was no availability. If you’re planning a long stay, better to book in advance, especially in high season. Jonatan and his wife Rita are amazing hosts, super accommodating, easygoing, fun people. They help with everything you need, or just sit and talk about life. The biggest plus for me is the community. There’s a really good vibe here, people often eat dinner together, there are events, and during the day you can work from the workspace with others around. It never feels lonely, there’s always someone interesting to talk to, especially in the evenings. Rooms are minimalist but have everything you need, simple and comfortable. Thanks Jonatan & Rita. For sure I’ll be back again 😊

Muy contenta con este hermoso lugar. Mi primer coliving. Llevo viviendo como nómada por muchos años y la mayoría de las veces me quedo en hostales, esta vez decidí probar un coliving, y me alegro. Cuando vuelva a las Palmas sin duda me volveré a quedar aquí. Los dueños lo llevan muy bien, todo está siempre ordenado y limpio. Jonatan se involucra muchísimo, está pendiente siempre de que todos estemos bien. Uno tiene su privacidad y también puede relacionarse con el resto de gente que allí se hospeda. Hay muy buena energía. Es un barrio tranquilo cerca de todo lo que uno puede necesitar y cerca del Confital, perfecto para desconectar. Sin duda un lugar muy especial. I spent just over 2 weeks at EcoIsleta and found it to be a truly beautiful experience. The place feels like a home, and during my stay it came with a wonderful group of people who quickly felt like a quirky little family that I was lucky to be part of. I also had the chance to connect with both the local scene—which EcoIsleta is clearly involved in—by attending a neighborhood recycling event, as well as with the wider traveler/expat community. Because the place is located in a quiet local neighborhood, yet just a couple of minutes from the beach and the more touristy area, it really offers the best of both worlds. With most of the colivers working too, the atmosphere stayed calm and focused during the week and became pleasantly livelier toward the weekend (exactly what I was hoping for!). Not to say that, if you were looking for something more active during the week, it would be difficult to find—plenty of options are close by. The facilities met all my needs, with a great co-working environment in the shared kitchen and a wonderful rooftop terrace. My room (La Gomera) was compact but very comfortable. All in all, I had an excellent experience and genuinely look forward to returning.

El coliving es muy acogedor, ideal para conectar con personas de distintas partes del mundo, pero lo que realmente marca la diferencia es Jonathan, el anfitrión. I spent two weeks at EcoIsleta and it was wonderful!! It’s in La Isleta, which is a normal residential neighborhood where mostly locals live. So it's not very touristy, yet only five-minute walk from Las Canteras beach with all the shops, cafés, bars etc. So it’s very convenient. (I'm including a photo of the Las Canteras beach) EcoIsleta is run by Jonatan and his wife Rita. Jonatan’s a true local; his family’s came to the island for over a century ago from the neighboring Fuerteventura, and he actually built the whole place himself, including a lot of the furniture, which kind of amazing ! The place is nicely designed and you feel the personal touch and care Everything in EcoIsleta is nice and clean. The kitchen’s big and well equipped, and there’s a large table good for working or eating together. It looks exactly like in the photos - maybe even nicer in person :) And during low season prices were extremely fair. (If you ever want a separate coworking space, Sopa de Azul nearby, is also very cool and reasonably priced.) Jonatan really cares about the issues of the island and the local community. For example he organizes bi-weekly dinners at EcoIsleta, making it easy to connect with people Before going, I didn’t know much about Gran Canaria, and I was honestly amazed at the variety; dunes, forests, mountains, beaches, old towns and so on.. EcoIsleta is totally recommended! it’s a special, authentic place : )

After living here for two months, I can say it's a wonderful place to arrive in Las Palmas, meet people, connect with locals, and explore authentic Canarian life. The kitchen is definitely the biggest plus – a central spot where all the roommates come together to cook, eat, and relax on the terrace. Jonathan, the owner, is incredibly helpful in every way. No matter what your challenge is, he’ll always find a way to support you. The regular social cooking events are a great opportunity to learn how to prepare local dishes – sometimes with Jonathan or his wife. It’s a warm, communal experience that really makes you feel at home. Another big highlight for me was the neighborhood itself. It’s very calm, and in the evenings or at night, you don’t hear any noise at all. I loved sitting on the terrace, just observing the peaceful street below. Whether you're staying for a week or a month – it's definitely worth it. Enjoy your time there!

Exemplar community building and vision-driven business by Jonatan, the owner. Who is often around and provides nice local-only info. The place is structured as a real eco-oriented building. From water purification to trash sorting to renewable energy, everything is in place. Including furniture that is not bought, but built by hand with materials available to anyone (take that, Ikea). Plus there are plenty of social activities like dinners that are well-attended, not only by people staying there, but others in the island. Great place to stay if you want to understand the place and meet locals as much as digital nomads (both attend the events!)

It's probably the best coliving on the island, definitely the most vibrant (which does not mean drunken parties but more like good conversations with good people, nice feasts). Jonathan makes sure that there is a constant flow of community programs, and is an amazing person, too, and a local patriot. (I was living on Las Palmas for a long time as a digital nomad...) A hint: the canteras beach is best near La Isleta for swimming, so this coliving has a pretty good location.

I really enjoyed my stay at EcoIsleta and give it a full 5 out of 5 stars! Jonathan is truly the heart and soul of the house and the community. He gives you such a warm welcome and is an amazing host, making you feel right at home from the start. The community is super nice and open, and there are regular events where it’s easy to connect with others and make new friends. I stayed in the La Gomera room, which I can highly recommend. It was lovely and had its own private shower and toilet, which was a big plus. Overall, such a great place to live, work, and meet wonderful people.

EcoIsleta is a family run coliving and coworking. I wanted to try to work and live together with other travellers and this place was a very good one to start with. It is rather small with 7 rooms. The place is well taken care of and clean. There is space for cooking, working and on a terrace one can also do some eg yoga. Some social events are also from time to time organised there eg board game night, eating of paella. The vibe depends on the set of people who live there bit if you need privacy the room offers it and also the place is located near the beach where a lot of activities happen. The owner is very helpful, open and with good spirits.

Ecosileta Coliving is a very special place that quickly felt like home. I spent over 3 months here, and it’s hard to put into words how much I appreciated my time. Rita and Jonatan, a local couple who run the coliving and an eco shop nearby, were incredible hosts. Their hospitality and friendship made my stay unforgettable. Almost every Friday, they hosted events where we could meet locals and learn more about life in Las Palmas. Rita shared her amazing cooking skills with us—she taught us how to make mojo rojo and mojo verde, and her paella was simply unforgettable. Jonatan organized hikes, dinners, and other activities that helped build a strong and welcoming community. The house itself is perfect for work and living, with a well-equipped kitchen and spaces thoughtfully designed for comfort and productivity. I even learned a lot about composting and sustainable living while I was there. The location is unbeatable—close to Las Canteras and El Confital beaches, as well as bike and bus stations. It made exploring the city so convenient. Ecosileta is more than just a coliving space—it’s a community where you can build connections, learn, and feel at home. Mi pareja y yo pasamos el mes de octubre entero en el Coliving y no pudimos encontrar mejor sitio. La casa es grande y todos los espacios son muy agradables, reformados y con un estilo muy especial. También tiene una terraza con algunas plantas a modo de mini-huerto, con varios sofás y una gran mesa para poder comer al aire libre. Todo muy limpio y cuidado, la cocina bien equipada y poder disponer de bicis, tablas de surf y material de snorkel y playa fue un puntazo. Además, la Isleta, el barrio donde se encuentra, tiene mucha vida y encanto. Durante el tiempo que estuvimos pudimos conocer a varios huéspedes interesantes, con vidas y procedencias dispares, con quienes pasamos buenos ratos. No obstante, lo mejor de nuestra estancia fueron Jonatan y Rita, los dueños. Súper cercanos y familiares, nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones en la isla, siempre dispuestos a conversar, organizar y aceptar propuestas de planes en común: excursiones, cenas, cervecitas, taller de mojo, serie-forum... Se portaron tan bien con nosotros que les guardamos muchísimo cariño. Mención especial a los productos de la Ecotienda que tienen muy cerca de la casa, la fruta nos encantó :) ¡Si volvemos a Gran Canaria no dudéis que volveremos a veros!

We had an unforgettable experience staying in Jonatan's place. EcoIsleta Coliving is located just 5 minutes from the main city beach Las Cantera, in the La Isleta neighborhood. Jonatan, being the local host and owner, infuses so much energy and passion into his space. The main focus is on the community, and that is something Jonatan excels at with his weekly activities. It was so easy to surround yourself with the community while staying there. During our one-and-a-half-month stay, we met some amazing people, both colivers and EcoIsleta's broader community of digital nomads, ex-pats, and locals. The place is equipped with a coworking area for people who are working remotely. I would recommend anyone planning to come to Las Palmas as a digital nomad or remote worker and looking for the best way to integrate themselves into Las Palmas to definitely consider EcoIsleta.

The best coliving I’ve been to ! In the quiet neighbourhood of La Isleta, right next to the beach, EcoIsleta is a beautiful and sustainable house. I loved the vibe there, the little garden, our composter, and the limited number of rooms. But the best about EcoIsleta is definitively the people ! I had a fabulous time at Ecoisleta. The concept: The coliving is focused on Zero Waste. You can separate your trash, including a home compost. There weren’t strict rules you HAD to follow, but the whole concept makes it feel natural to save on plastic and waste. Free hiking trips trips around the La Isleta peninsula were offered to learn more about the nature & history of this city. The community: From day one, I was integrated into the coliving community. It’s easy to get in touch with other coworkers but also other locals who join for Ecoisleta Events. Jonathan lives this coliving from heart, he was in the house regularly, happy to support with any topic and was up for a community dinner and drinks. The house:
 The house is partially built open to the top, so you walk from the staircase directly to the roof terrace. This way you feel the beautiful Canarian climate even more :). It’s basic, expect no luxury (except for a Bialetti espresso maker ;-)) and you’ll find everything you need to feel at home. Free & fresh vegetables & fruits every week. Bikes & surfboards were available. Close to the beach, co-working spaces & supermarkets. Solid neighbourhood where many locals live. I am coming back next winter for sure!

Had the BEST time at EcoIsleta! The place is unique with some much handmade furniture and gardening component’s, always with sustainability in mind. The community idea that drives the place is amazing. Sharing not only ideas & knowledge, but also things like bicycle, body board, monitors, vegetables, fruits, the list goes on and on. I LOVE the time spent with Jonatan (host). I learned so much about the islands history, the dangerous it faces, the local cuisine, … also that list continues ;) All the knowledge available is shared. I met no other people so passionate about the idea of connecting the existing local, with the growing Nomad community. Support this place if you want a sustainable growth of Gran Canaria’s tourism and want local people to benefit a little more compared to investors. Of course it‘s also close to the beach, the WiFi is very fast, you have supermarkets and food close by, but in the end it‘ll be so much more to you ;)

There are coliving spaces, and then there's this one! I've stayed there twice now. The entire concept, from renovating the house to 'save' an old Canarian house, to everything they implement (composting, eco cleaning products, eco soaps, aiming to be zero waste, etc.) and how they integrate the local community into their activities, I am a huge fan. I have spent a month in this wonderful space. A perfect space to telework and to get to know the reality of the island from Jonatan's hand. The space has a shared kitchen, living room and terrace for working and community life. I have shared this experience with amazing people. La Isleta is a working class neighborhood with a lot of social demands. It is located between the port of Las Palmas and Las Canteras. It is less centrificated. Jonathan is an accessible and very nice person. He knows the neighborhood because he has lived there and is part of the social network. I went for a walk with him in the Port and the Isleta and I received a historical vision in first person, of the neighborhood, about the city and the island. Nearby Jonatan and his wife have a little eco-shop with local and organic products. An incredible experience of teleworking and real knowledge of the island.

Magnífica casa y host, desde el primer momento me senti incluida en la comunidad. La casa tienes todas las comunidades necesarias para un nómada digital. He launched this coliving with a real mission in mind of building a zero waste-lifestyle-focused community from a house where sustainability is the top priority. 🌱 We were able to lean meet locals, we went to an high school to help them building a compost. We did hiking trips. We met other nomads, We learned how to make goffio. Great experience ❤️
