Had the BEST time at EcoIsleta! The place is unique with some much handmade furniture and gardening component’s, always with sustainability in mind. The community idea that drives the place is amazing. Sharing not only ideas & knowledge, but also things like bicycle, body board, monitors, vegetables, fruits, the list goes on and on. I LOVE the time spent with Jonatan (host). I learned so much about the islands history, the dangerous it faces, the local cuisine, … also that list continues ;) All the knowledge available is shared. I met no other people so passionate about the idea of connecting the existing local, with the growing Nomad community. Support this place if you want a sustainable growth of Gran Canaria’s tourism and want local people to benefit a little more compared to investors. Of course it‘s also close to the beach, the WiFi is very fast, you have supermarkets and food close by, but in the end it‘ll be so much more to you ;)
